Everything working fine in 1.3.0 (up to now; more tests to come). Thanks, kruch.

Looking forward to a somewhat improved interface, mostly sorting the menu options and removing 'obsolete'/unclear/useless ones.
And to some new features in future releases, mostly the ones in
the wishlist (more features in maps, including vector maps; broader control of the display - overlaying vectors (gpx, svg) and raster images - and the devices, be it GPS, mobile-GSM, sensors, camera, ...; improving/updating the scripting engine (hecl); and some 3D features? (why not?)). Twisted Evil Laughing Wink

I guess I need to collect input from active users regarding which features are most important for them so that I can set priorities accordingly...

I would still love user-defined touch areas, more powerful scripting, split layouts for tablets, to name a few... ; -)

Edit: Also some (basic) routing functionality. Planning and easily editing a planned route. Then information while following the route, like distance left of route, some estimate of how long it will take, etc.

New scripting engine + related enhancements is a sure thing, at the top of the list.

I'll try to find some online multi-choice voting app.

I'm not sure if this is a new thing, but if I tap too fast (by mistake) on the plus or minus to zoom, it registers as a double click. Then Trekbuddy freezes with a "loading" message.

Just do what suits you best: any of them will surely please all users.

As for being important: any new feature should work flawlessly. If it doesn't, or it makes TB hang... Sad

BTW, if i may reckon myself as an 'active user', i'd go (=you should go) for improving the interface and scripting engine: that way users will feel more confortable with the proggy, and may add some features to it by scripting. Any other feature should fall into the rest of the improvements, so it would be up to you.
As for the little knowledge of sw development i have, i'd say the former is also true: a good interface design and a well chosen script engine may help you polish TB's 'core' better than adding new features. And thinking of current/future platforms (android/windows phone) aside from obsolete ones (j2me?), changes in the core are very likely.

So, all in all, it's better and it makes more sense if you identify the priorities: you're the 'active developer', we're just 'active users'.

[Note: i'm posting this here, for i feel TB is bound to start a new major release... 2.x? End of j2me support? Perhaps you might "take a rest" and think about it... We (active users) shall wait.]

phpBB allows you to create polls in new topics. And there are also some advanced plugins for that.

Open TB => go to navigation menu => open gpx with many wpts => delete some waypoints from gpx file => start navigating => go navigation menu (same gpx file) => TB always crashes

End of j2me support? Shocked what would we use our old nokias for you know the one you can sling in a bag dig out 5 days later and they still have charge! , i personally think those j2me users are the core TB users, i personally no longer use TB as my main app on android as i feel there are far more plugged in apps such as Locus, but give the kids that old nokia and go out geocaching TB it will be all the way!
