Sorry, I only forgot to update SIS metadata. Anyway, just uploaded SIS for S60 3rd with correct version info.

Is it then possible with the not updated metadata file to install the newer version over the existing one or is there need to deinstall older Version?

Furthermore, I remember that I needed to sign the TBS some way, but I do not know how any more. Could you give a hint to me (public or by PM)

TBS can be installed over existing version (regardless of SIS version). Reminder: after installation you need to start it manually.

SIS online is here: https://www.symbiansigned.com/signedui/welcome

Or you can hack your phone to allow installation of unsigned SIS packages.

Loading of existing maps, even those much smaller than 2GB, has become MUCH faster on my Nokia E72. Thanks.

Yes, (even smaller) maps load faster with the new helper.
Nice to see that Nokia's j2me restrictions aren't that restrictive Wink .

hi
thanks for the fresh one Smile
I'm most interested in asc-t/desc-t fix
It worked once after new version installed, but every next time it does not work. How big the altitude must be to be shown in asc-t/desc-t variable?

regards
pm

ad asc-t/desc-t: they are cumulative values for altitude changes, and because GPS altitude value is rather unreliable, unprecise and fluctuating a lot, there is a threshold of 30m for an altitude change to be acknowledged and added to asc-t/desc-t.
The threshold is fixed and does not take reported vertical precision into account.

Just one little thing:

when it ask "Use as default atlas", the gps coordinates appears and disappears quickly.
It's dirty.

Thx.

Thank you for the link.
Hacking my phone is not my intend, so please help me again by telling me, which of the presented processes are for me to get TBS signed. Thanks in advance
