Now i'm happy. :-) A quick checkup with the new 1.0.20 is very positiv.
Both devices working well including signalstrength and satfix with blutooth just as with built-in gps-senor.
This apply for SE C702 and SEXA.
Thank you Kruch for the fast Update!

Odd. When I click the .jad file on my Nokia E51, I get an error "invalid jar file". When I then install just the .jar file, I can still edit the program properties like allowing to read/write user data, and when I make a backup of the entire phone with PC Suite and look at it with NBUexplorer I can see the .jad file is installed. I can't explain this.

BTW, the same occurred with 1.0.19. I didn't see this with 1.0.18 or earlier.

No idea what could be wrong. (I tried OTA update with 9700, worked ok)

I've rebuilt 1.0.20 (fixed one RIM-specific JAD property, but it should not matter) and uploaded it here: jad

Hello,

I am using at Android 1.6 the TrekBuddy version 1.0.18. Do I have a chance with the new 1.0.20 version?

Regards

PostPosted: Tue Jan 24, 2012 1:34 pm    Post subject: Default map configuration not saved Reply with quote

Hi,

when selecting an atlas/map-level, TrekBuddy does not ask anymore whether the user wants to use it as default. When restarting TrekBuddy afterwards, the user sees the old default-configured map.

I have deleted and reinstalled TrekBuddy in an attempt to fix this. As a result TrekBuddy always starts without a map selected, in the configuration menu the default map string is empty. The other configuration settings however are saved correctly so it seems.

If this is a local problem, what might be the cause? Sony C702

regards,
Marcus

Couldn't confirm, map/atlas "save as default" question is present in my one and save to RMS works for default map/atlas.
BTW, do you use "no softkey menu" setting saved ? What about "no questions" ?
Try to check used settings first http://www.trekbuddy.net/wiki/index.php/Configuration
and if exists, remove/rename settings.dat file in resources folder ...
