What may confuse you is that the directory you point TB to must contain two addditional directories named "tracks-nmea" and "tracks-gpx".

See topic "Track Recording" at: http://www.trekbuddy.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=22

Example:
I've got TB pointed to the directory:
Code:
file:///Ms/Other/TrekBuddy/

which contains the two directories "tracks-nmea" and "tracks-gpx".
Works perfectly.

Hi! Did you have any problems when launch the program? It's still asking me a lot of Security permission question...

Helped me too. Seems like the trekbuddy HAS to reside inside the "Other" folder or you get a SecurityException. I tried file:///e:/trekbuddy and 20 other variations and went nuts until i moved the trekbuddy inside Other and it was fixed in an instand Rolling Eyes

So solution to P1i etc is Put files in Memoerystick/Other/trekbuddy and point TB to save in
Code:
file:///Ms/Other/trekbuddy
