2 users have already reported map loading problem on SXG75, that manifests as

"java.lang.StringIndexOutofBoundsException: String index out of range: -1"

I'm investigating the problem....

I use version 0.8.7 on my SXG. I can't locate myself at all. Previously i used nav4all and this app locates me very fast.
I conifgured my trekbuddy well. I set internal location provider.
It's my first time when i work on your app.
I have no idea what class format. This format represents all version above 0.8.7, SXG75 cooperates with jar & jad files only.

Please be patient, in a couple of days I hope to have 0.9.1 ready, which fixes some problem of 0.9.0 and also is reported to work better on SXG75 than any previous versions.

Hi Kruch,

first of all: Thx. for this nice app! - On the best way to become my favourite GPS app ...!

Not really.

While GPS worked with 0.9.0 despite other bugs, now with 0.9.1 I get a "Provider error" shown under "6 Info". Shocked

... bad luck ...

Hegi.

Thx.

GPS tracking does not work for you with 0.9.1?? What firmware you have? And what error do you actually see in Provider Error item?

First of all: I'm on FW26. - And that appears to be just as buggy as the predecessors - the bug's are just elsewhere Crying or Very sad

OK. You also tell me "ProviderError" is just a heading. - If there's an error it's got to be shown afterwards, right? Idea

In that case this appears to be fine Exclamation

Today GPS-reception even worked for some while. However, after some while the phone did a reset when I placed it in my car cradle ... strange. Confused

Since then GPS has not returned - also not with other apps. - Could be that for some reason the almanach information did not survive the reset Shocked

Is there a way to see whether the buildin GPS receiver has a signal or not?

Am I right to assume that I actually need to select "start" to turn GPS on?

Cheers,

Hegi.

Very well Cool

At the top-right corner there's a small circlet - if it is red, provider (ie. internal GPS in this case) is "out-of-service", orange for "temporarily unavailable", green - "ok".

Right.

A do jakého výsledku?

meanwhile trekbuddy runs good on my SXG75.. i use actually version 0.9.5 ... the only problem is the thing with storing tracklogs as the SXG75 does not allow more than 30 charakters by storing... therefore it would be good to have in the next versions the possibility to name the *.gpx-file of its own... Wink

regards, RALF

hi luki,
try the version 0.9.5 that I have offered in correspondence with kruch on the outdoor-portal via-ferrata.de => here the Link

I have installed this version without having trouble on my SXG75... download trekbuddy.jar and trekbuddy.jad => than install on your mobile phone => have fun with trekbuddy...
