How to setup to ignore automatically missing files.
Currently i always have to enter CONTINUE or YES(JA) to continue.

Multiple tile downloads have failed. Something may be wrong with your connection to downkload server or your selected area.

Something is wrong with download of atlas tiles. The amount of downloaded tiles is not as high as it was calculated. Therefore tiles will be missing in the created atlas.

Using the tool near a border these errors are ok/correct and i would like to automatically confirm it.

Scanning along a coastline with Level 16 - there is the same problem.

This s a really great tool - i like it!!!!
Thank you!

I've figured out that they are using exactly the same zoom-levels and tile sizes as Google maps except that the y-coordinate are somehow inverted.

The tiles are found here:
http://map.eniro.com/geowebcache/service/tms1.0.0/map/<zoomlevel>/<x-coord>/<y-coord>.png

To convert googleY to eniroY use this formula eniroY=2^zoomlevel-1-googleY

Example:
http://map.eniro.com/geowebcache/service/tms1.0.0/map/14/8907/11656.png

http://mt1.google.com/vt/lyrs=m&x=8907&y=4727&z=14

And 2^14-1-4727 is 11656 and the same formula works for all zoom-levels.

Actually it turned out that the Eniro tile cache can be accessed just like the google cache:
http://map.eniro.com/geowebcache/service/gmaps?layers=map&zoom=14&x=8907&y=4727&format=image/png

So I guess it should be pretty easy to add.

billy06:

Go to Settings and Map size tab. Set there suitable tile size. The whole map will be split into tiles of this size + the rest on the right/bottom side. If you wish to use the generated KMZ map on Garmin device, set tile size < 1000. Optimally 800 or lower.

TAC will create set of KMZ files - one for each tile. That's other approach as GlobalMapper or other known SW does. These SW make one KMZ, which refers all tiles. With TAC you will get set of KMZ files. Now you have these possibilities:

a) If you wish to see your map in Google Earth, select all tiles in Windows Explorer and choose to open them in Google Earth (right click -> Open).
b) If you wish to use your map in a compatible Garmin device, simply copy all (or any subset) of the KMZ files to \Garmin\CustomMaps folder on your storage card.

TAC can create map tiles smaller than 1000x1000. I just created such tiled map. I set 800 and my map has tile size 768x768. It is the nearest tile size, as the tiles in tile cache are 256x256.

AFAIK the maximum tile size is 1024*1024.

Hi!... thanks for your app!!!

Now we are in Xmas time... just a wish

Would be possible to add support to SIGPAC? (Geographic Information System of Agricultural Parcels).

This system is designed for recognition, structuring of agricultural cultivation, fields, country private estates, ... in Spain.

These maps allow a high degree of detail (up to 10m over ground) and the ability to use topographic and orthographic layers (even superimposed)

Take a look and tell me what do you think about it:

http://sigpac.mapa.es/fega/visor/

Merry Xmas & a Happy New Year!!!

The SIGPAC-Maps are really great. Never seen such a good map for the Sierra Nevada!

Done. I used the "complicated scheme" as it seemed to work much faster to me.

To all the other users with wishes regarding map sources or other features:
As long as the map source isn't that easy to add as those proposed by "kallt_kaffe" please create an SourceForge Feature Request Entry:
http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?group_id=238075&atid=1105497
Login using Sf.net or OpenID account and click "Add new".
Requests here in the forum are ignored as it is nearly impossible to track them.

Merry Christmas to everybody...
mobrob
