Changelog
- CMS enhanced with HECL; for details see 0.9.84-devel description
- this version also supports command to play a sound: [play my_guide/left.amr] - parameter is a path to the sound file relative to the script file
- "north-locking" on compass screen (press key 5 / FIRE)
- several bugfixes and usability improvements
- larger built-in map 1600x800 (because there are 480x800 devices on the market)
HECL and larger world map increased the jar file size significantly. No changes in localization.
From now I will adopt "micro-releases" strategy - more small releases more frequently than before: no more confusing "betas" "devels" etc, faster delivery of bugfixes and new features, early detection of newly introduced bugs in existing code.

Hi kruch, thanks for the good work, it's a wonderful prog you wrote.
Unfortunately since the 2nd devel of 0984 my HGE-100 doesn't work anymore (technical Info screen says "ProviderError java.lang.NumberFormatException: not a digit" in older Versions and the first devel of 0984 it worked like a charm. |

hmmm that error message sounds familiar to me... somebody with X1 reported the same problem. I will check the code changes. Can you make a short NMEA log for me?
EDIT: no need, found the bug, fixed it. Please try today's version. |

Hi,
When I browse for map or atlas, trekbuddy show me each folder 3 times, in previous version everything will be ok. I still can load atlas/map without any problems but i see each position 3 times in folder list.
I use Nokia 3110 Classic.

Probably upper/lower case problem with filename filter (new in 0984). Fixed and newer build uploaded, please try upgrade. |

|
|
Hi Kruch,
there still seems to be a problem. On my Nokia 5800 (Symbian S60, no keys) the menu does not show anymore. A few moments ago I saw it but now it just does not reappear. Already tried reinstalling TB, so i think it maybe a bug in the code.
But the menu i saw for a moment really looks great! :)

could be an unintentional keylock problem... I'll investigate it... |

I can see the menu on my N5800 (full screen mode) and it works great!
(the newest version of TB and previous 0.9.84 devel.)
The problem is with many waypoints (together = in one file) because there is no way to scroll this list down. I can't solve it. I can use Virtual keyboard but this is some kind of prosthesis, no solution
TB is really great, esp. with HECL. Thank You |

Yes i agree many waypoints you cannot scroll down unless you have virtual keyboard, i tend to just use the distance nearest first option or position first
until a scroll is added to the program,
