It has been long time... let's have a few intermediate (beta?) releases on the way to 0.9.60. This version brings CMS. It also introduces changes to the waypoint model that makes implementing long-awaited changes (like show all waypoints, navigate along a sequence of wtps, integrate/use internal waypoints (smart2go etc) etc) in waypoints handling easier (yes it means this: they are not there yet Crying or Very sad )

Also, versioning I used (letters suffix) was wrong - no more X.Y.Zc etc, just numbers; b suffix means beta.

Changelog 0.9.55b download link

    - CMS
    - day/night mode switch for HPS/CMS implemented - use key *
    - "Tracklog Dir" option became "Data Dir" option; the directory it points to is expected to have these subfolders: maps, tracks-nmea, tracks-gpx, wpts and ui-profiles
    - tracklogs filenames format is YYYY-MM-DD-HH-MM-SS now and are stored in tracks-gpx or track-nmea folder (according to format selected)
    - all known waypoint files (ie. those with .gpx and .loc extension) in wpts/ folder become available as "waypoint stores" in Waypoints menu (key 1)
    - all 3 params for timing initialization for JSR-179 and Motorola Location API are available in Settings; when you open the settings, the field should contain by default the values that were hardcoded in previous versions (A780: 2,2,-1 E1000: 9999,1,2000 others: 1,-1,-1)
    - alternative scrolling method (Options->Tweaks->1-tile scroll) for devices where TB ends with OutOfMemory (be sure to try "S60 renderer" + "forced GC" first - restart needed for these options to take effect)
    - "raw" GPS tracklog possible (no filter applied); see Options->Tracklog GPX->raw

CMS
New forum Themes is ready for CMS. You can find layout descriptor with explanation and fonts examples there. There are several great designs already available, and hope their authors will post them there soon once they test it with this version (maybe even with screenshots Wink ).

The doc is not updated yet, sorry.

Known issues (updated 2007-04-26 11:32 my local time Cool )
    - scrolling on S65 is slooooow - dunno why Embarassed
    - crosshair redraw on SXG75 when scrolling
    - wpt azimuth rounding
    - nautical units
    - {time} format should be hh:mm:ss
    - {dist-t} in km (or nautical miles Wink )
    - cms total values reset

hi kruch,
thank you very much!
in my first test it seems to work on SXG75. I'll do a more intense test tomorrow.

Do you already when you are able to implement Waypointstore saving?

Improving waypoints is what I'm focusing on right now (starting tomorrow Wink ); only fixing of critical bugs has higer priority Wink . No fixed date for next minor release assumed yet...

-std is for Motorola iDEN phones, since their java is too "sensitive" to unknown classes..

When I try to load map or atlas in this new beta, app show me this error:
null: cz.kruch.track.maps.InvalidMapException: Slice loading failed: java.io.IOException:invalid data
Why?
I tested it on Siemens CX75,maps on mmc. (In version 0.9.4 is all ok)

0.9.55b works rather well on my SXG75. Just a small bug that was not present on 0.9.5c: When the cross-hair cursor moves, repeatedly instead of the crosshair a part of the upper left corner of the screen is displayed (see attachment). Kruch, could you implement nautical units? sailing season has started.. (instead of the height then the course would be more interesting)

@kruch {time} format should be also [h:min:sec] as you have done with {time-t}

- you do not have "night" color set defined

And, there's no need to create color variants of a font - its color is changed to fgcolor of day/night mode on-the-fly, so using b/w font is OK...

CMS parameters problems.

How to reset total values, ie distance, trip time etc ?

Seems that distance total isn't reset properly when new trip started - "distance jump" can be observed after log replay is started.
Small formating problem with time total - align right doesn't move value to the right position (some spaces visible after seconds).

Here is a CMS that works fine on my SXG75. For newbies: With BitPim create
a new folder named ui-profiles in brew/shared/ and copy the files cms.simple.xml and the font files into that folder. (Create also folders
tracks-gpx and wpts in brew/shared). The html.xsl is only for prewiew of the xml on a PC with a browser.

{time} should be [h:min:sec] (very important !)
{dist-t} should be in km [0.000] (to offer cm is not serious)

thanx
