Hi Kruch!

I have Asus p535 PDA WM6 with internal GPS.
At my phone last working version was 0.9.73. and I could find position without problem.
I've read that your HTC (P3300/Artemis) works well, and that you fixed wpt recording on PDA.
Besides that I can’t use customized arrows and crosshairs, from Data Dir/resources, so I need to change them in jar.
Version 0.9.74 and 0.9.75 are working normal until I start GPS. Then I can only heard 5 sounds again and again.

Hi Kruch,

thanks again for this great software. The version 0.9.75 works fine on my SXG75 (I have removed the last 5 lines of the .JAD file, as in previous versions). Since about a year, I have modified a hotkey of the SXG75 to start Trekbuddy with a single keypress.

Now, I would like to suggest to add an option to start the GPS reception automatically. At the moment, one has to press two buttons after starting the application to start receiving GPS coordinates, which can be distracting e.g. on a bicycle. How to add a new option under Settings e.g. "Autostart GPS reception" ? If enabled, Trekbuddy should switch on the GPS reception directly after starting (I don't know whether this may create problems with external GPS receivers, but with phones with internal GPS I cannot imagine any side-effects).

There's bug in 'show all':
- select gpx fileuse 'show all'
- (all wpts are displayed)
- use 'hide all'
- (all wpts are hidden)
- select another gpx file -> only 'go to' in menu - must go back to previous gpx file, use 'navigate to', then 'stop' to unlock other options.

Could You add wpt description selection to main wpt menu (to switch between name/desc)? Maybe activated with command in jad file? I still can't use * and 0 on m600i.

Hi just a two cents remark Rolling Eyes

I switched from my old SE k750i to a Nokia N73.

In k750i under the provider status ball, I had the the number of satellites. With N73 I didn't have them.

I don't know if it is because of the resolution of the screen (240x320 instead of 176x220) or because the different brand of the phone.

Cheers,
Nibbler.

Move a map a little bit after saving settings and you will see coords updated. Or turn on GPS provider if you wish to refresh map view.

Umm -

I thought you could only get a different datum or grid if the map you're using has been calibrated in that datum. (Hence my attempts to convert maps to OSGB36)

When upgrading from 2007 versions, on some devices it is necessary to

1. uninstall the old one
2. reboot the phone
3. install the new one
