Hi guys,

Thought that some of you might find it useful.
You can make Trekbuddy to fully work on Sonim phones, I tested it on both my Sonims: xp5300 (no longer with me, sadly) and xp3340 Sentinel.

Here is a quick "how to", as I had some rough time at first trying to install it correctly.

1. Download trekbuddy.jar AND trekbuddy.jad from here:
http://www.trekbuddy.net/dev/2014-02-21/

2. Change time in your phone to 2013.01.01 and set "auto updated of date" to OFF

3. On your phone go to download folder, select trekbuddy.JAD and choose "install", saying yes to all but last question, when asked if you would like to run it, say no.

4. Go to Java/Apps, click Options and and then 2.Settings.
Set "Allow" to each of positions you want and save after each step.

5. Now you can run Trekbuddy, set it up way you want it

6. Change the time to current time.

Trekbuddy should be fully working, including backlighting, and without any questions on each access to maps.

7. Enjoy! Smile

Hope it helps some of you.
