Hi Kruch,

found a minor problem with only the main menu (I call through menu key): It is big and exceeds the display, although all the menu items can be reached.
Seems to be that needed font to display this menu is no more available, thus displaying with a system font in black on white and the selector box in white on blue.
Any idea? Any other display (e.g. settings itself or map selector or OSD) is displayed with normal font...

@leo2k
So what ? C702 is the same phone as C905 you think ? Smile
Every model can be different. There is simple method to check how implementation of JSR-179 works in phone.
It includes something like nmea extensions used by developers, so if you save short nmea log in TB or other apps you can see what is recorded Smile
For C702 GSV sentences are only visible in log, means satelites in view info.
But TB uses different info indeed, like satelites used for fix and position (presented rather in GGA, GSA, not available in C702).
So in addition TB collects possible informations from main JSR-179 functions instead.
It is why I asked about JSR-179 implementation changes in C702 in time, because my still wouldn't show more info. Means not available Smile

It can be checked quickly by creating a short NMEA log. If it will be empty then no sat info.
I'm not sure I have old SE with internal GPS...

I thought this might relate, since I also noticed that # of sats isn't displayed anymore. Ok, maybe 0.9.99 showed # of sats in view - not in use. My NMEA log only shows $GPGSV entries.

I found a small problem with the zoom feature on my Nokia 5230.
Single press and long press on - (7) or + (9) works fine, but when I make a double press then I get a java.lang.NullPointerException.

same here. If trekbuddy is still loading the next layer I get the exception when pressing again (that's actually what you are doing when double pressing).

I'll try to fix it for 1.29.

I get an error:
Code:
java.lang.IllegalStateException: File API Error: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: no ':' in URL

when loading .IDX atlas. In fact the first step, IDX file loading, works fine. But when in the second step it prompts for a map, no matter which map i choose, I always get that error. However, if i try to load a map directly instead of loading an atlas, i do not get that error...
(when loading a TBA, i get the usual "Too many FileConnection...", that's why i'm using the .IDX).

Edit: after trying 4-5 times to load the IDX, i get a different error, this time dealing with the IDX file loading. I get some 'header error', followed by some hex codes (seems the IDX cannot be loaded). Some time ago i had a similar error, it was with version 1.1.1 or 1.2.3, i can't remember.

I did not have this issue with 1.2.4 or 1.2.5. (I'm going back to 1.2.4, until this gets fixed)[/quote]

@gautxori thanks, it will be fixed in 1.29. I'll publish dev build tonight.

@kruch: IDX loading is working now, thanks.

After a simple test 1.2.8 has memory leaks. After i connect to the GPS i leave TB gathering data (no other use) and after a (short: 2-3 min) while the phone "restarts" (sth like a soft reset, i suppose it is due to the VM).

No such problem with 1.2.4

So this version is only available unsigned or signed with expired certificate. My question is: on what date this certificate expired, i. e. what date should I set in my phone in order to install TB? I've tried some, but I haven't succeeded (but this could be because I have other problems with installing/running applications in my phone).

Or maybe some previous versions are signed with valid certificate? Are there any such versions which are not (very) buggy?

Thanks in advance.

Certificate expired Jan 2014. Check last posts in http://www.trekbuddy.net/forum/viewtopic.php?p=55939, it may help.
