Smile

I've had a look at GPX scheme, and although some applications may support mixed trkpt and wpt, I can hardly make scheme-compliant tracklog with wpt element(s)... Sad

Another thing - I think that recorded waypoints (wgps-date.gpx ie. currently nulldate.gpx Wink ) should be stored as route (rte)

Quote:
rte represents route - an ordered list of waypoints representing a series of turn points leading to a destination

For custom waypoints I'm not sure if unordered list or ordered one should be used. BTW, can Ozi be used to plan a route and export as GPX?

It could be problem to insert waypoint into tracklog as trkpt because the time of wpt depends on the time when i open dialog Record Current, not on the time when i save wpt into tracklog. So time of trkpt doesn't need to concure on the time of previous trkpt.
It is in attached file – there is trkpt in time 15:13:20 and another trkpt (as wpt) has time 15:13:08.
Is it correct or not?

For what ? For example series of wpts as POI doesn't mean route ...
Rather Enter Custom wpts should be used if planing route in phone.
A lot of tools exists to convert recorded wpts or tracks to gpx route.

Yes, even you have older version, it's easy to convert .rte to Rxxx.gpx.

Yes I think it is possible - example in attach.
When I export wpt and track from OZI into GPX I can chose if I want save track or wpt or both.

yearling,
In your file track+wpts are included. This is not gpx route as name suggests.

Such format - unordered list of wpts followed by trk is impossible for me to produce. What I can do is

Code:

gpx
  trk
     trkseg
     /trkseg
  trk
  wpt
  trk
     trkseg
     /trkseg
  trk
  wpt
...

However this may not be 100% correct... I have to check it.

EDIT: another option could be merging tracklog and corresponding wptlog later ... haven't we talked about it already?

Guys,
It is easy to use text editor to copy recorded wpts to gpx tracklog if someone would. If it is difficult to have such file created by TB, or have non-standard file content, in my opinion is better not to do it.
We need to use TB recordings in other tools without problems.

... you are totally right, mixedup files make a lot troubles in "postproduction":

Yes, it is the truth, I agree. It is better to create gpx files in standard form.

Hi,

Long time no see. I installed beta on my a780 and tested CMS screen for some time (a speedometer in my car has been broken for a week or so, so I needed some kind of speed indicator and TB was very helpful Smile). I used 240x320 profile for some other phone and it fits well in full screen mode Smile.

I didn't test map features because didn't have time to create some useful maps, so I don't know if it still goes out of memory.

Great new touchscreen mapping. As far as I found there is scrolling (very nice Smile), day/night mode toogle, waypoints and display toogle. It would be great to have fullscreen toogle as well if this is possible. Or just create a screen like this for waypoints but it could have options from main menu instead of waypoint options and map it to lower left corner of touchscreen. This will end all problems with menu access on a780 in fullscreen mode.

I'll see what easier for me, whether fullscreen toggle or custom menu; I guess the latter will be the winner...

It's just more "debug" info about API support in the device...

75 - file
82 - bluetooth
120 - messaging (SMS)
135 - multimedia (basic)
