The same problem on Nokia 6233.

Solution:
You have to press key "3" slower. Wait till the message "Backlight ..." disappears and then you can press "3" again.
When you press key "3" quickly, first pressings will be OK but others pressing will be ignored.

Thanks! When pressing the key "3" to long time, the blacklight controll always ok.

I have problem with large tarred atlas. This version the best, older version often (1-10 min) crach with out of memory error. Now for example, 30 minutes real driving, working properly, and after crash. The crash always, when move the map, manual, or GPS coordinates. You have same problem? My telephone have 2Mbyte memory for java, free memory with large atlas often 800-500Kbyte long time, but sometimes 50Kbyte or crasch.

@yearling

Thanks your answer. How many memory for java (all/free)? The map tile size? You cut the big map to smaller maps? Language file or/and CMS used?
Ver. 0.9.90 downloadable? I see only ver 0.9.89.

Hi

I'm using 0.9.89 on a BlackBerry curve 8310 and it works except for a 500m location error even when the BB is at a point used for calibration.
The internal GPS is accurate compared to a Garmin. The calibration points are accurately set, conformed by third party.

Map created in Gimp, calibrated using 'Map calibrator v2.6' and tiles created in 'TB Cutter'. I also calibrated the map and created tiles using 'Mapc2mapc' with a smilar error.

any thoughts

When adding a waypoint and you are supposed to select witch file you want to save to it just displayes a black section and all I can do is press select for it to select the first item (I suppose it does that).

This is happening on a Nokia 5800, using firmware 21.0.025.
I do not know if this could have been fixed in the last firmware update of the phone. But I can not update to that yet. See below.

Note to other 5800 users, I can not update my phone since I have a provider specific version and they have yet not supplied a new firmware update.
