Also on the Viewty, the left and right soft keys (virtual keyboard) no longer operate (left key was main menu, right key was back/cancel). This also was working in 0984 devel. version.

Please go to download page, I've added a note and a version for users that misses the menu.

Keystrokes should not be buffered - is there a reproducible keystroke sequence I could try?

Thanks for clarification, Kruch! But it doesnt work! I changed the value of Lists font in Settings/Desktop menu from 000000 to 200008, press OK, Save, it says Configuration updated, but font is still the same. And when i return back to menu, there is 000000 again. Sad

Ad font change - I turned out that the hardcoded font spec was too small fo hi-res displays, so I made it configurable. I've just updated the announcement post.
If you read it and understand the font spec format linked described in the referenced CMS topic, you will now know that the default value 000000 means "system font face - plain style - medium size". So, for example, if you find it too big, change it to 000008.

EDIT: I think 200008 is the value that would correspond to that harcoded in previous version (monospace/plain/small).

I've updated the Wiki for the font configuration, see http://wiki.trekbuddy.net/index.php/Configuration#Desktop "Lists font"

tested out and about today most things worked well apart from 2 things 1.back light after 100% goes black screen have to reboot phone to exit(you sometimes press top left of screen ((key 3)) by accident when scrolling). 2 when on the move if you scroll the map then try to press centre on the screen (key5) sometimes does not work , this is because you are nolonger in the same place if on a large zoom map a way round this is to use key lock when scrolling

That's rather incovenient... but I have to confirm it. But you can press 3 again to get 10% backlight level, can't you?
I know, the display should dim as per device setup when backlight is set to "off". I can reproduce it on E60, so hopefully I'll be able to fix it.

no after you go through the 25 50 100 % the next press turns it black screen and nothing works you can not press 3 to get it back if i go back to phone desktop i can not exit Tb from there so only a reboot fixes it we had same problem on the n95 a few versions back but was fixed for that device

@billy06
you don't really need to reboot the phone
if default task manager can't kill trekbuddy, 3rd party one is able (I'm using Best TaskMan)

just don't restart the phone ok? Smile

by the way, I remember that default task manager was able to kill Trekbuddy, now there's no "Exit" option, and Best TaskMan asks for confirmation as I want to kill system app.
Has Trekbuddy been changed to be a system application, or I don't remember correctly?

P.S. I'm on 5800
