Enjoy !

Hi, Ranger. Thank you very much for your file, but...

inside cms.Pict.xml (the only one into the .rar), appears:

<screen mode="full" background="WPTbg.png" w="176" h="220">

So... I haven't got any WPTbg.png Embarassed (I imagine it is the modified picture of the original CAbg.png)

I have tried to find by myself your PL guides contest topic to download the full pack of your modified CMS, but I haven't been able to discover it... (I am not speaking and not reading polish: sorry Sad )

Please, help me. Thanks a lot, Ranger.

Can I? I hope that... Rolling Eyes

Yep, you can. If you change pict on CMS with 7 or 9, active navigation point is changing too. I'm sure you find it usable Very Happy

Sorry, Ranger but I can't see any pictures on your CMS. What can I be doing wrong?... Sad

What Location providers must I use: Bluetooth, Stream or Simulation?

Inside .gpx files building on ConvWPT:

<link href="images/WPT01.JPG"/>;

This path don't would be E:/TrekBuddy/images/WPT01.JPG? (I know I can change it in Settings on ConvWPT, but which is the correct path to show the pictures on CMS?) I think this is the really problem... Rolling Eyes

I hope your news, Ranger. Thank you in advance.

Hi,
First, Location provider is for simulation only, not necessary to see picts in CMS.
Do you have obligatory wpts folder created in E:/TrekBuddy/ ?
Picture link is relative to "wpts", ie if you are using
<link href="WPT01.JPG"/>
it means that picture should be copied to "wpts"
If you are using ie
<link href="images/WPT01.JPG"/>
you should see in PC file manager picture file as
E:/TrekBuddy/wpts/images/WPT01.JPG
Did you checked if JPG format can be used in your phone ?
In some models JPG format is not supported by Java in phone, but PNG is supported mostly.
Another problem can be some filename mistakes, ie upper/lower case letters in some phones, etc

Yes, I can.

I have got a Nokia N70... I be able to open tar maps that previously they were .JPG format ¿This feature not means it can read .jpg format on Java apps?

And, at last: Do you think PNG format is supported on ConvWPT? Because I think if it is supported I can open .png pictures (this feature running on TB in my phone sure: I've tested it) althought i can open .jpg maps too...

I think I am very lost with this problem... Crying or Very sad

What do you think about that, Ranger?

Thx a lot, Ranger, for ever and ever. Wink

I suppose that easiest way for you will be record wpt with picture in TB.
You will see how folder for picts is created in such case and check created gpx file with picture link. Also you can see place of created folder with pict file, pict file format etc.
Guides are visible in TB exactly the same way as recorded wpts with pictures, so I hope it can help you.

Thank you very much for your fast answers, Ranger. Wink

Yes, I think it will be the best, but... Will I can use your CMS to see the pictures with that solution (creating asocciated pictures to waypoints from TB directly) yet?

Or this solution is only to research how and where folders and files are created?

Thx in advance, Ranger.

Yes, it is possible.
If you record wpt with picture, next you can load such wpt for navigation as usual. Next switch to CMS view and picture (or part of it) should be visible in CMS pict window.
Recording wpts with picture is a long available feature in TB, new CMS is to view or choose them.

Yes, yes, and yes: I did it!! Very Happy

Ranger, You are absolutely right: I think the main problem was upper letters in format picture JPG instead of jpg. I changed it, and Eureka! It runs. Of course, with 'images' folder into 'wpts' folder (Thx, guest Wink and Ranger too Wink ).

Next question Twisted Evil Would I must hear the voices nav<n>.mp3 also saved in my gpx converted with ConvWPT in the same way that I see the pictures, or only are heard on the navigation mode? because I cannot hear anything at the moment... Rolling Eyes

A lot of thanks, Ranger. I hope your news...

Yes, it is possible to use mp3 directions voices in links; voices are played from TB sounds folder, if link doesn't contain folder name in path. Sounds are played when wpt proximity is reached, so you can use real nmea log with simulator in TB to have wpts reached. Another way is to use GPSBabel and convert prepared wpts file to nmea log and use it with simulator in TB.
One more - you can use sounds in guides different way, ie like points voice comments. In such case you can use your guide subfolder in wpts for gpx file (with proper links), pictures and voice comments. In many of phone models you can record own sounds (system function), probably in N70 too.
