I am tired this evening (it's 10 PM in Poland now) but tomorrow I will make this tool for connection testing. Then I will upload it here. You will be able to test connection and send me results. We will see what is wrong.

@Tepich
Once again. When I woke in the morning I was well-rested... then I had a flash.
Do you run TracksAlbumJK from a shortcut on your desktop or from application folder?
It's strange that application can't use libraries from this folder.
Perhaps - if you run from shortcut - it isn't shortcut, but copy? Check it please!

I'm using Firebird with other apps, so I have different sysdba password. When I changed to default "masterkey", program starts work.
I think you should create separate config file with connection properties.

@ JacekK
I was running TracksAlbum directly from folder. Now I tried to place link to desktop, but it did not help. Still the same message.

@Tepich

Unzip and copy this file into TracksAlbumJK folder. Then run it.
It's test connection utility - it just tries to connect to database without any exception handling. So - you will have error message with exact information about your problem (I hope).
Then make screenshot and show me it here.

Thanks for help. 0.1.0 now works, the missing DLL was GDS32.DLL. I found it on my disk in some freeware app folder and registered it.

I have one feature idea for the TracksAlbum - merging of 2 gpx files. When walking the town and recording track for photo geotagging I often experience a problem when entering a building (restaurant or museum). The track logger looses the satellite fix and after leaving the building it starts recording a new track. It would be useful to have a chance to merge these tracks.

Good luck with future development, the app is great.

I will add this feature. It will be possible to join and to divide tracks.
But now I am working on raster map view in preview window. It seems to me that this feature will be helpful when user doesn't have internet connection.
It's almost finished for WGS 84 - but I can't find alghoritms for other maps datum (like for example Pulkowo 42 - what is interesting for me because many Polish maps use it)

You're reading my mind as for the development order Smile

TracksAlbumJK + Asus EEE FTW! Smile

Look at 3pts Molodensky transformation for datum shifts.

Thanks Ranger - I found a lot of information in the internet today. But not this Molodensky transformation.
I am thinking about other option - moving map between two points choosen by application user - and saving this shift into an ini file. It should help in superposition tracks and raster map if map isn't rotated or scaled... what do you think?

All TB navigation elements like wpts, tracks or routes are in WGS84 coords. If you would present such data ie on Pulkovo map (calibrated in Pulkovo coords), you should convert WGS84 coords to Pulkovo. For such conversion Molodensky transformation is needed.

Yes, yes, yes! Molodensky transformation is cool - Pulkovo 1942 datum works! So - now I am able to calculate a lot of datums if it exists in table which I have.
Thanks again Ranger.
