I'm not sure what you wish exactly, cause 1440 x 2560 screen resolution is already supported ...
In June special app build was released to support better high density screens (means maps scaling up to 400%), link can be found in topic

so that we can understand, I want to have maps in full screen

and still enjoy is somehow not be enlarged crosshair

It is indeed easy.
Goto TB Settings, Desktop, Map scaling and change value from 100 to 270.
Next use phone back key twice to save new setting and restart app.
Map should be visible full on screen.
