A few bugfixes...

Changelog
    - MISTAKE - DOES NOT WORK. SIEMENS OWNERS STAY WITH 0.9.68 Sad faster .tar maps on Siemens x75 and better (check if Settings->Misc->Siemens I/O is checked - should be on Siemens phones by default)
    - file browser starts in %DataDir%
    - main screen title removed (caused problems on some devices, eg. A1200)
    - App-Flags can be passed as -Dtrekbuddy.app-flags as well (usable eg. for activating O2 provider on Palm)
    - O2 Germany provider - buffer length option
    - key remapping
    - reduce memory consumption a bit

key remapping

On some devices with unusual keyboard (like M600i, Blackberry 8800, etc), user has to use ALT/SHIFT/whatever to perform some action in TB. Since now, keymap.txt file in resources can be used to remap unknown key(codes) to to those that represent numeric keys on usual devices. Example keymap.txt for M600i:
Code:
-3=42
-4=35
32=48
101=49
114=49
117=51
105=51
120=55
99=55
110=57
109=57

For example, 101=49 remaps keycode that represents 'e' to the value of '1' key.
To find out keycodes for the keys, one can use midlet from http://frog-parrot.net/games.html (look for Display Key Codes). Values for keys on "standard" keyboard (KEY_xxx) can be found here: http://java.sun.com/javame/reference/apis/jsr037/javax/microedition/lcdui/Canvas.html.

Hello kruch!
Thanks for the new release.
Yes, map loading time (from original 32MB-RS-MMC) is now very short on Siemens S65. But during scrolling the following errors occurs repeatedly:

<removed>

Greetings,
haddock

P.S.: When switching off Siemens renderer map loading isn't possible at all

Unfortunately you are right Sad
S65 is using older file api support and the improvement does not help there much, but I got report that on S75 it works fine. I've updated the announcement...

Loading of tar-map stops with "invalid header" error. After hitting "ok" a black screen appears with message "Incorrect file selected. Try again.".
I tried it with several different maps in main memory and on MMC

haddock

EDIT: I meant Siemens I/O (not Siemens renderer). Sorry!

Do you have to add the O2 flag for each version
to the jad to make O2 options visible?

Or does it stay visible in newer version
once you installed a version with the O2 flag set?

Hi Kruch
Thanks for the new feature of key remapping.
I tried out for Blackberry8800, the keymap.txt is :
-----------------
113=35
119=49
114=51
100=53
122=55
99=57
-----------------

Everything works great.

BTW: I do like have a improvement in the future version, every time when I save a setting or open a wpt file, blackberry has a loud "beep", even I have already turned off the sound option in settings-Desktop-nosound.I can not turn off the BEEP. And the audio volume control on Blackberry does not work on that.It applys all past versions. So, I'd like when user choose the no sound, the handheld should shut the sound completely.
Thanks.

Hi, thx for the new release.

I have just one problem on my n6230i.

It doesn't load an ATLAS or MAP made by TBcutter. (NO .TAR)

Sorry, I will back to the old version while waiting for a new release.

Greetings!

Hi to all! First of all so many thanks to Kruch for this wonderful TB! Very Happy
Having installed TB0.9.69 and by loading atlases I´m also getting "Invalid header" and so on.
I´m SXG75-user and for running TB well I have to uncheck "Siemens I/O".
By the way, Kruch: What will Siemens I/O effectuate?

Thankyou kruch for that version!
Now I can set the datadir in my SXG75 to file:///mmc-miscellaneous/tb/ and it works! This worked in no version up to now! You must have solved it by let the browser start in the data dir. Very Happy
(Something like that I suggested in an old post) http://www.trekbuddy.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=47&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=116

So now its possible for the first time to have the datadir in a SXG75 on the memory card and access the track and wpt data via bluetooth and the normal file browser.. Smile

Hi,
severe problem when loading an atlas, SXG75 restarts before loading is completed. Loading a single map works. Think I`m going back to the previous version.
Sad
Wish you all a good night
