I had not enough time to test it thoroughly, so bear with me... and report bugs soon to have it fixed soon Wink. Signed with renewed certificate.

Changelog
    - fixed: NMEA logging (files of zero length were created)
    - fixed: .tar maps on Siemens phones (with "Siemens I/O" option on)
    - fixed: "no sounds" option now really means no sounds
    - fixed: settings on WM devices were not saved/applied
    - fixed: O2 provider flags is persisted for good once it is used
    - new: jpg format supported for maps (provided your phone supports it)
    - new: option "log gsm info" - cellid and lac are (gpx-)logged too (supported only on SE phones at the moment)
    - new: option "large atlases" in Settings->Misc to avoid OutOfMemory
errors for huge (lots of maps) atlases)
    - new: .set file is mandatory for plain maps (for much better performance and less garbage produced during directory scanning)

Calibration file (.map, .gmi, ...) is now required to be accompanied with .set file (contains tiles listing). This does not apply to .tar maps (I plan loading performance improvement for them too, but it will not be mandatory).

Directory tree recursion and listing hurts performance. And most (all) tools that create map tiles already generate such .set files. So - most users will not notice anything. And if not - creating such tileset listing is extremely simple.

U této verze mi po připojení GPS modulu v Info naskakuje hláška ProviderError java.lang.NumberFormatException: Not a digit: F. Místo F se ještě objevilo někdy M nebo N. Nevíš kruchu co to znamená?

0.9.70 works on my SXG75 (FW 26). No (new) problems detected so far.
Not sure about the new features though (eg "log gsm info" - what does it mean?).

Anyway - another step forward, thanks once more, Kruch!

could it be possible to build (somehow) a database of gsm infos linked to coordinates and then load it into trekbuddy? this could then be used to get position data without gps (comparing live gsm info with gsm info from database...)

do you get what i mean?

Yes, you can build waypoints database with mentioned info and load it to wpts folder as you need.
If you can read forum title, you will see that TB is suitable for GPS navigation mainly. Other methods to get position like some gsm infos are not usable for navigation outside urban areas.

In what boot phase does this happen?

I've updated changelog in the announcement, thanks.

Unfortunately, I have not got rid of the error by checking this option (and I was SO lucky too see it in the announcement!). It is just enough to go with the cursor from Plzen to Brno and the error occurs (i.e. no difference from previous releases).

The memory must leak while going through a large amount of maps. If I start looking for appropriate map using GPS navigation (i.e. I do not have to scroll through all the maps to get there), the error does not occur.

My device is Nokia 6234.

1. TB970 starts without start-up atlas.
2. Starting with a default map works.
3. When starting TB970 with the default atlas, the SXG75 reboots.
4. Boot phase: starting map... appears for a while and then it`s rebooting.
5. Same atlas works without problems in TB968!
6. Sad

Thanks a lot for the new release!

NMEA logging works fine with my SE K750i now.

And I am very happy with the jpg support. Jpg tiles are loaded as fast as png tiles. And it allows me to save a lot of space for the satellite maps. I made a test with a satellite image (aerial photography) from Ask.com (105 x 38 tiles, each 256x256 pixels): I downloaded the jpg tiles from Ask.com and renamed them to be able to use them directly in a trekbuddy tar file. Then I compared the sizes if I convert the tiles to png files. The results are:

48 MB: jpg

348 MB: png truecolor
146 MB: png with 256 colors
125 MB: png with 64 colors
78 MB: png with 16 colors
54 MB: png with 8 colors

With the old versions I had to convert the tiles to png and the size was increased by a factor of 3 if I use between 64 and 256 colors. (The quality is too bad if I select less than 64 colors even with dithering.)
