My Nokia C7 says "not calibrated" ...

the native and magnetic compass will be usefull, only if we have no gps signal, i think... Nevertheless if it is possible/easy to implement in the future, it will be a good add on...

at the momment TB only shows a compass needle, if it's a gps signal available... (is this the problem?)

I don't miss it. It's very inaccurate. At least in my B2710.

@matjazz,

Yes, it could be more accurate but interesting when sometimes no sats fix or for TB map orientation when no moving, etc ... Wink

Maybe this can help, check Orientation section http://developer.samsung.com/java/technical-docs/Location-API

http://developer.samsung.com/java/tools-sdks/Location-API-for-Java-ME-JSR-179

Maybe it would be possible to get Compass app from Solid using TKFileExplorer and ReverseEng it...

Thanks. I tried TKFileExplorer, but I cannot find Compass application with it. I can see all the preinstalled games, google maps etc, but not the Compass Sad
Even Samsung's Orientation demo midlet (http://developer.samsung.com/java/technical-docs/Location-API) does not work.
