Hello Everyone,

Excuse my English, but I'm from Poland and I need help in creating maps for TrekBuddy for trekking and bicycling.

I will spent my holidays in Niedersachsen (Oldenburd, Ammerland, Westerstede, Bad-Zwischenahn) and I need topographical (raster) maps of these regions (10k and 50k scale would be great).

As I can see german users use OpenStreetMap for generating TrekBuddy maps. Sadly these maps are highly undetailed,

Maybe there are some other methods for generating more detailed maps? Maybe there are some WMS or geodaten portals (like polish GeoPortal http://maps.geoportal.gov.pl/webclient/) which I can use for downloading JPG or TIFF maps?

Please, help me.

In case of questions I will try to answer the fast as I can.

Sincerely,

HR

Maybe a TrekBuddy tared atlas with MOBAC?
The Map from OpenStreetMap Mapnik is very nice for trekking and bicycling.

Firstly, thank You for Your reply! I appreciate this very much.

Yes, I know MOBAC solution. If I could't find anything else I will use this program.

I'm searching for maps like these shared in Geodatenportal Niedersachsen:
http://www.geodaten.niedersachsen.de/portal/live.php?navigation_id=8674&article_id=25439&_psmand=28

Sadly, my german is very poor and I can't find any informations about WMS server - anyone will help me?
