I use TK on a Samsung Wave II.

I have created a map with MOBAC (1.9.5), using a TK tared format atlas

When I want to zoom I have a strange behavior:
the - Button opens a menu where I see the name of my map. All I can do is to select it, then the map is showed again, there's no effect on zoom factor

the + Button opens a menu where I have to choose a zoom level for my Map

I suppose +/- should automatically zoom/pan without having to select which level

Am I wrong ?

You may need to turn layerzoom on with Settings->Desktop->EasyZoom: layers

I red somewhere that the 7 key was for selecting the map and the 9 key for selecting the level.
That's exactly what I have, with - button playing the role of 7 key and + button playing the 9 key role !

Kruch, thank you for your reply !

Unfortunately, if I switch to EasyZoom, + and - buttons don't do anything !

I just created atlas with MOBAC (1.8 ) and the problem is probably with the layout - it is single layer Sad

How many layers are in your atlas?

Kruch, in fact I have several layers in my Atlas. each layer corresponds to a different areas, and in each layer I have several zoom factors.

If I follow the advice of haddock, I obtain an atlas with several layers named automatically
City
City_1
City_2
City_3

In each layer, I have now a single zoom level, but +/- buttons still don't switch zoom level automatically: they open a menu:
- Layer selection
+ Zoom level selection (with only 1 choice !)

What did I do wrong ?

Layers usually should correspond to the same area, if you would have easy zoom working, with option set to layers.
It is enough to create atlas in layer by layer manner in Mobac, where layer is just single zoom level.

I finally got EasyZoom workinhig, with each zoom factor in a different layer of the same area in the atlas ! Thank you Haddock, Kruch and Ranger !

However, I still have an issue in some maps (ex: Paris inside its peripheric) with a large zoom factor (google 17): the tiles on the South-East side are not displayed by the application, though they are present in the atlas: TB shows black squares separated by white lines, with the file name inside

Any idea ?

That is strange... I would understand if you would got OutOfMemory error and then these squares, but without the error this means there was less severe problem, like tile missing or decoding error. In these cases no error is shown, just the black squares.

Is it packed (tar) or unpacked map? Could you upload it somewhere if it is not too big?

Hello,

I don't have any specific error message.
I used a tared map: http://dl.free.fr/rjiRoL5pc

For example tile #5632-6912 is diplayed as a black square

Probably in your phone only ...
I have no problem to use it, sample tile below.
Seems like Samsung file system specific problem.
BTW, what you have checked in app Settings/Misc ?
