kruch, your TB is great, but will be the greatest when dist-t and spd-avg will work on my poor Avila Smile

Is any chance for that?

As I wrote: dist-t and spd-avg show constantly zeroes (Avila with internal GPS).

In previous versions it showed very large and quickly increasing (every second) values.

As I remember in earlier (<<1.0) versions it was also 0 for these ones.

Your can track also:

and

You've mentioned that calculation mechanisms were deeply reconstructed, but it may be helpful.

So with v18 you are back to zeros for dist-t and spd-avg variables?

OK... can you try to make both NMEA log and GPX log (with this cfg: uncheck log only valid and set dt to 0) ?

Looks ok,
accuracy tests (distance showed in cms and gps track) tomorrow morning.

Please add this fix to official version.

Thanks and don't forget about Samsung TB fans Smile

I had the same problem with my Samsung Wave GT-S8500, and I am pleased to report that dist-t seems to be working well in your new beta version.

However, there seems to be a problem with track logging, as some of the logged points have an incorrect time... Any ideas ?

Also logging is set to dt=10, but the actual dt logging is quite erratic.

Time is correct in the GPX file, seems like problem of the application you are usingfor viewing it..

Code:
2011-08-08T16:27:55.818Z
..
2011-08-08T16:27:56.82Z
...
2011-08-08T16:28:06.816Z

You could try to add ending 0 to 16:27:56 entry. TB does not log meaningful 0s.

Other entries with 2 decimal places are 2011-08-08T16:30:10.41Z and 2011-08-08T16:30:36.41Z. You can also disable logging time with ms precision by unchecking Settings->Location->GPX options-log time ms.

You are absolutely right, adding the not meaningful 0s solves the problem when opening the track file in OziExplorer 3.95.5k.
I will also try disabling ms precison as suggested, which will be much easier than adding 0s to the gpx files...
Thank you very much for your support !
