Hi Kruch,
tried the latest Version on my BB8800.
The good news: It installs, starts and seems to recognize the buildin GPS.
That's a great leap forward. - Thanks for your efforts!
However, the behaviour is rather odd. Here are some points:
- When starting GPS, my location in West Germany seems to be somewhere in Asia on the World Map.
- Though the Map covers the screen nicely on start up (being centered on the US), when scrolling the right side of the screen gets black.
- When scrolling back and forth (east-west) it appears that the right side of the map gets somehow "mirrored" as lines from the right edge of the map remain. - Looks a bit as if you put ink on a piece of paper and fold it.
Havn't got a camera at hand to shoot pics. - But I wonder, if someone else as experienced anything like this yet on BB.
Hope this helps
Hegi. |

Can you provide coordinates? Meaning: are your coordinates still somewhere in germany or does trekbuddy display some coordinates located somewhere in asia?

I'm almost sure that screen capture software also exists for bb

@hegi
* map scrolling/redrawing issue can hopefully be fixed by checking S60 renderer option in Settings->Tweaks
* do you see correct coordinates in OSD but map shows wrong position? or both are wrong?
Eg. javaloader.exe (from JDE) can make screenshots. |

Is it right that TB write time into tracklog file in UTC (GMT)?
In example:
Time zone in mobile phone is GMT+2 (summer time in central Europe),
time displayed in mobile phone and TB is 10:00 and name of tracklog file is 2007-08-31-08-00-00.gpx and time into tracklog file is 2007-08-31T08:00:00Z ("Z" at the end of this tag means "Zulu"?) |

@Kruch
Proposal of easy active waypoint selection for route (or set of POIs)
Steps
1. Push key "1" long time
2. If route (or set of POIs) was selected earlier, show current wpts list, if not run normal behaviour or show message "No list selected".
3. Allow to choose new active wpts from list as implemented now (joy up/down, fire or keys 2,8 and 5), choosing new wpt should close the list.
The same way can be used to select active wpt on map screen (showing it in graphic form instead of list), if you plan such option.

Correct. I think it's in GPX specification. |
