Does GPS modules in general count with position errors caused by unit movement and position update delays ?
( Possibly by making corrections based on position prediction ? )
If not, does TB make such corrections ?
I ask because it often seems to me Nokia GPS navigation comes to crossing always too late and never too soon.
It does not make sense for walking, but does for biking and definitely for driving.
If there is position update every second, it can be easily 10-40 meters error till next update.
It could be significant for urban area orientation with many small roads and juctions.
In such case the least error would be to provide position where I will be in next 500 miliseconds.
Or better, to let user choose TB behavior on this area.
Edit: It could be also related to time/position interpolation, based on prediction. _________________ Nokia E52 (240*320) / Symbian S60 V3 / Last TB relevant to S60 |
