OK. If you couldn't help yourself reading forum, short info for you.
To use BT GPS module with TB, you first need to turn BT interface in phone by hand, next turn on GPS module (but not in home, GPS doesn't work inside buidings). When you see module is blinking, run TB and use Start option in menu to search for BT devices. Be sure that you selected BT provider (not Simulator) in Settings. Wait untill TB will find your module. BTW, which module you have ?

Hi,
You don't uderstand, that Bluetooth in phone should be accessible for java apps ?
This is not problem of TB, but phone firmware.
A780 was announced with JSR82, just search official Motorola developers forum. But many of sold phones doesn't have it.
You can find also source of your phone firmware (Linux OS) and JSR82 libraries (if you are forum member).
So to have any GPS java apps working, first you should have firmware with JSR82. No other way, java apps must have access to phone resources.
You will have similar problem with JSR75 - access to files.

"Move Cursor To.." function would be realy nice! 'Cool'

I’ve noticed something weird. At the see level altitude on TB was 50m more then it should.
I’ve tried another program (BikeAtor) and altitude was correct.
When I came home and compare altitudes, difference was again 50 m.
It might be bug only at Motorola A780 with internal GPS.'Confused'

Custom arrows for new version 0.9.57 from my phone.

Not at the same time. One after another.
At the same location 1 m from the see level. On TB I've have wrong altitude so I try BikeAtor just to check the phone. For me altitude is not that important, but for somebody else might be.

TB 9.56 I used on my SXG75.

When I was in Antalya it showed correct altitudes.. (between 0m and 10m)
I have a suggestion regarding altmeter in TB. I hope it is not computing intensive.

How about implementing a little queue for the alt values (like 10 - 15 measurements) where each new value is enqueued, and at the same time the oldest is overwritten ...

Then the shown altitude should be the arithmetic median of the altitudes in the queue.

Doing so, we would not get such large glitches in the altitude readings and i think they would be more accurate.

Could you ask on Motorola's forum ? Not all TB users are interested to know.
Your problem is device specific, could you write about it in Devices section, please ?

This is JSR specification page.

Could you ask technical service about GPS java app not working with your phone ? I don't have your phone in hands so couldn't say what is inside it.
