Thanks for your great work Smile
I've got one little feature request: map source of polish Emapa.pl. It's a basic map for whole europe and it's more detailed in Poland:

Code:
customMapSources>
    <customMapSource>
        <name>Emapa.pl</name>
        <minZoom>0</minZoom>
        <maxZoom>19</maxZoom>
        <tileType>png</tileType>
        <tileUpdate>None</tileUpdate>
        <url>http://mapa.emapa.pl/mapsrc/img.aspx?&amp;x={$x}&amp;y={$y}&amp;zoom={$z}</url>
    </customMapSource>
</customMapSources>

I would like to thank Velociraptor, who had made this code.

Hai mobrob! Great job. My question. It would be technically possible route downloaded GPX entered when creating tar atlas into the bitmap so that the tar in the Atlas recorded? Sorry for the English translation. Thank you.

Hi mobrob. thank you very much for displaying tracks as polyline! Smile
Loading GPX1.0 is very useful too, because OziExplorer saves GPX still in GPX1.0 format.

@Velociraptor & Šumil:

I added Emapa.pl as new map source. Based on your preliminary work it was very easy Smile

[quote="guest"]hi, I´ve got a problem with very often clicking on alert messages.

Button "ignore in future" or "continue for all" is welcomed. By clicking this button, all next messages will be ignored. Is it possible to add this button?

I would like to download Czech and Slovak map "cyklo" - it´s a way of turist map and that´s all. Now I have to click every 30s to continue download.

It downloads google map withount any problem, but our czech maps takesmuch time.

I´m not guest, I´m a user called J4cker. You can find me on the net.

Which begs the question. Why do you not register on this forum and logon to post to it?

It is because google maps have done all zoom level across whole world. But CykloAtlas.cz have covered only czech and slovak. in higher zooms level his titles end near of state borders. And if you want download slovak map your selection is deep in hungary...and there map cover end at zoom 13..i think.
That is, why TAC shows bugs...and Yes, it is little disturbing.
I vote for this feature. I will be very nice, if it can be done soon Smile Please please Smile

I m using the latest version release but the map creation always end with a exception error "failed to create directory".

I was creating atlas for maverick pro using google map and select a zoom from 5x to 17x. however, at zoom 17x, the folder creation splits to (00) and (01) for it, is this the cause for the exception error?? any way to overcome it??

and btw, is it possible to configure the zoom level for google map to go beyond 17x ?? (eg. 19x).

Thanks

Hi caretaker,

right that is a bug. I have fixed it so that this bug will be gone in the next beta.
Additionally I increased the max zoom of Google Maps to 19. The higher zoom levels must have been introduced during the last months and I had not noticed it.

@urumov: Sorry, but I don't get the point of what you are trying to say.

Hello mobrob,
as a very happy user of TBAC I have two wishes. I'm using http://www.glopus.de/ on my PPC as a moving map application. The maps created with TBAC (ozi-format .png + .map) have to be converted to the GLOPUS-Format .kal, (example attached).

1. Is it possible to have an atlas setting .png + .kal ?
2. If not, can you avoid a space the file name, that makes the conversion easier (I am using the also attached MAP2KAL.exe to convert from .map to .kal)

Best Regards
W.

If Tile format is set to PNG 256 colors (8 bit), output files have full 24bit color depth. Required library files jai_codec.jar, jai_core.jar are present in TBAC directory, JAI version 1.1.3. Tested with output formats for Ozi and TB. What can be the problem?

In this mode only the color reduction is performed by JAI, PNG saving is done via regular Java ImageIO. May be you have installed another image library that is accidentally used or you use a non-Sun-JVM which has a different implementation?

BTW: As stated in the readme the custom tile format settings are ignored for OZI atlas format.

@Wunibald: Glopus KAL atlas format is implemented; you can wait for the next beta or build TAC yourself from the SVN sources.

@caretaker: Google max zoom 19 is "implemented" - by changing one character - not sure whether I really should call that "implement" Wink - please wait for the next beta.
