Hi guys,
maybe a silly technical question but still...
I want to create some topo maps for my area, so I am looking at scanninng them from the original paper topo maps and calibrating them in Oziexplorer.
One thing I don't get. How to scan the say A2 size maps on A4 size scanner? Is it possible? I mean, to scan different parts of the map and then join them together or make an atlas from them? Also do I need to "slice them" into parts using ie. the TBcutter?
Also can I somehow create a zoom feature on the maps? So that I could zoom in and out on the phone's screen. I was thinking of scanning it at pretty high resolution to give a good detail, but not sure if that is any good.
Thanks for advice |

hi . just scan the sections in and calibrate like you said , to have some zoom levels resize the scaned images . the calibration points will remain the same just change the image sizes in the .map files to match the new image sizes _________________ HTC Sensation, Nexus 7 3G, nokia 5800. web:www.thetrekbuddies.co.uk .
