I know this glitch - but it can not be fixed.
In older versions I implemented a workaround but that caused more problems than the glitch was. Therefore I removed it.

Sorry, I just noticed that the readme does not contain a separate section for OSMTracker - but you can read the section for AndNav instead.
Both map creators are 99% identical - including the restrictions.
The following settings are ignored when creating atlases for AndNav / OSMTracker:
Recreate/adjust map tiles (custom tile size and image format)
Name of all layers and maps
Structure of the atlas (which maps belongs to which layer)
Currently only TrekBuddy maps use the custom image format including image conversion. If that should be changed from your point of view feel free to file a feature request at Sourceforge:

I am getting this message while downloading maps. I get this message even while downloading at zoom level 4 with just 4 tiles. What can be the problem. Please help.
Secondly I had Gaarmin XT for Windows Mobile with my Map file as "gmapsupp.img" (size approx - 40MB). Is it possible to covert this into TB atlas.
Regards
Tarun

is there a way to join maps together??
for example an identical map area with different zoom.
it would be good if I can download the map area, example from zoom 5-12, after the download is done, then I download the zoom from 13-17 and join then together.
I guess its less demanding for the bandwidth too.
Thanks

Tarun, may be you don't know about significat differences between raster maps and vector maps. Garmin maps are vector maps in a proprietary Garmin IMG format. TAC downloads online maps in raster format, displays them and allows their conversion into supported raster atlas formats. I mean your question is too much out of scope of TAC.

You are right dear, but I have read somewhere about converting Garmin Map Source into TB Atlas, so why I asked this Question.

GPSMapEdit is able to open Garmin IMG format map and to export that map in OziExplorer format (bitmap + calibration file). Then you can use TBCutter or some other atlas creation tool.
Please note that GPSMapEdit is able to open only free (unlocked) maps.
Disadvantage of GPSMapEdit is, that it does not support Garmin TYP file. Therefore your map may look differently as in MapSource.
Quite other possibility is to open a Garmin map in MapSource application and then to use a program such as MapGrabber.

They have changed the map url. It is already fixed in the SVN sources therefore you can build a new version from SVN or you have to wait until the next (beta) release comes out.

Hi mobrob, maybe you already noticed this small thing to correct:
There should be kB/s instead of MB/s
(but as I see I didn't use the last version)
