Credit, respect, kudos, and again so many thanks to kruch ...

Just to confirm this release seems to work perfectly on Blackberry 8310 - at least for the TREKKER cms i just posted under Themes.
(NB: to activte the key code on 8310, seems to require loading a key map and using 3 instead of 2).
Cheers.

I'm back, finally Confused

Ad HECL and extra math - I have these fuctions implemented in TB and I can expose them in integrated HECL, but should user functions using them be too complex, it would be better to implement them directly.

Hi Kruch,

I noticed an issue using the 0.9.90 on my SE C510: The "lock keyboard" function doesn`t work for all keys. Especially the hard keys for answering and ending a phone call are not locked. I assume it has something to do with the new keyboard layout SE introduced some while ago (remember the problem with the cancel button in the main menu in the last version?).

Greetings, Patrick

Is there a 9.90 version for Blackberry?
When I download Ver 9.90, Blackberry applications indicates the version is 9.89.

Did it ever work before? I'm not sure if it is not beyond midlet control...

Is the midlet crashing due to OOM? As long as the memory is reclaimed after gc, I would not worry that much...

oom = OutOfMemory (exception)

I do not know what exactly is goiging on (gps started? using timer in cms? ...), but such saw-teeth pattern in the graph is usually considered healthy: memory usage drops after gc to a value that does not seem to be increasing.

I only have the C510 for some months now. Before I had the K750 which doesn't have those keys. I don't think it ever worked for the C510.
My current workaround when I have to carry the phone in a pocket is to put the app to background and lock the phone in the standard way. But that is quite unconvenient....

That doesn`t help you, but: I ran TB on a K750 for a long time and somewhere around Version 84 it began to become unreliable (hangs in the GPS-logging, hangs of the whole app, needing to reboot the phone). My final conclusion was that this model is simply not up to the task of running TB properly (either because of the processor, the JVM version or the memory). Since I got a current model (C510) the problems are gone.

Kruch, could you consider to implement support for different map projections no matter what system is found in .map file, as suggested in a previous post?

TIA
