So, basically "Void" works - only the not-disappearing of the menu bar is confusing.

I can try eg. to let an empty form or a dialog flash for a while on "Void" command. That could help the same way as Exit dialog.

I guess anything that triggers a redraw of the current screen would work (what an annoying little device-dependent problem... Wink).

Regarding the problem of opening tracks, yesterday I made a longer track with 0.9.89. This one doesn't open either. It says "nnnn waypoints loaded" and the just dumps me back into the track list.

I'm on it... you cannot open any tracklog nor waypoint file, no matter how big it is?

Hmm, waypoints (from SMS) open fine.

A track with 13 waypoints opens fine.
256 waypoints opens fine.
1242 waypoints opens fine.
3900 waypoints fails
28 fails
1020 fails.
1 waypoint in a track fails.
26 waypoints fails.
13 waypoints fails.

I see no logic in this. Or at least the size of the track isn't the culprit, I think.

@Jakob sorry there is a little bug: on SXG75, the alt correction should be preset to -540 by default

Thanks (also to Stefan) for the hint --- I'll adjust it manually (and wait for the next TB release ...).

Left softkey "OK" in Location menu: When provider "Bluetooth" is set, "OK" button only works after changing provider to e.g. "Internal" and back again.

Greetings, haddock

I have tried the new version with "UI-RightKey: Void" on my C702. I have the same experience as others. Menu bar is closed but it is still visible until a key is pressed. It would be sufficient just to redraw the screen. When GPS is on, the bar is closed in one second as the cursor is moved to the new position and screen is redrawn.

Funny, now when I tried to find a track that doesn't open they do open. I found one that dropped me back into the list of tracks but forgot which one it was. After that I am unable to open any track. If I exit TrekBuddy and open the tracklist I'm able to open other tracks ok.

I have to poke around a little more so I can find the track that makes this happen. Don't hold your breath.

If I recall correctly, one track-recording session with 0.9.89 ended with the need to reboot the phone since trekbuddy became inresponsive. Maybe this has created a track without an ending or something like this?

There should maybe be some kind of error-detection when loading a track?

JAD file already has UI-RightKey attribute with "Close" value, and the command should trigger screen redrawing. Let me know Wink

Tested the beta above: The right soft key is now labeled "Close" but when I press it the screen isn`t redrawn. So, same behavior as before. As soon as I do something that requires a redraw the menu bar is gone (all this is being disconnected from the GPS receiver).

I would consider this bug as cosmetic only. Once you know it it`s not a problem...

Beta verze 20090905 neotevírá soubory s body.
Verze 20090902 ano.
