Thanks for new version! Light version is a great idea!
Regarding deleting waypoints - deleting particular WPT works great now, but what about deleting whole .gpx files? When i accidentally delete all WPTs in file it stays empty and cannot be opened nor deleted...

Thx for new version.
If last opened .gpx file is in tracks-gpx directory, it is shown in file list for adding wpt. Writing to this file fails. I´m afraid that having file for navigation in this directory is non-standard. Files from tracks dir should not be listed here, or used with correct path for point saving.

Map loading at startup fails.
Init map: java.lang.SecurityException: Permission Denied
Permissions correct in app-manager.
Have to uninstall and re-install in case the installed beta (with the same version-number) interferes. Nope. re-install didn't help...
edit: uninstall and re-install again, now working without permission denied.
Perhaps the beta-versions should a version-number different from the upcoming release?

Hi Kruch,
after a very short test of this version it seems to work on my SE C510 (incl. Map-Loading).
Whats missing again is the right soft key in the main menu (the one with "Start <device>" on center key and "Option." on left soft key"). I think it's the same problem as discussed in the 0.87 thread.
In an early 0.88 build it worked as "exit" which could be canceled. That behavior was fine for me as you just had to press the right key twice to leave the menu (but not the app).
Now it's back to the behavior of 0.87 (at least for me) where the right soft key in the main menu has no label and no function.
Greetings, Patrick

Confirmed, can't close menu on C905 (K800i still works fine due to its dedicated Back button which the new SE phones lack).

| On W910i, right soft key works as Cancel button (menu is closed), even if the key has no description. Have you tried it?

hello kruch,
new version is great. It is pity, that the missing cancel button wasn't solved. I've looked at other applications which also run in full-screen mode (Opera Mini, Locify). It seems that all of these applications don't use the phone menu but they draw their own.
Do you think that it is possible to draw the main menu instead of using the phone's one? I have seen no problems in Opera Mini or Locify, so it should solve this problem in TB, too. The advantage is that there would be no menu bar at the bottom. Pressing left or ok button should open them main menu directly. Do you think it is possible?

That's a bug, it should not be listed.

Ad right-key problem: some do not like having Exit button, some do
I'll build version that maps a "do nothing" action command to right button and you will test it if it closes menu bar or not, ok?

Kruch, was something changed with the sounds, eg. WPT proximity alert? Im not sure if it's really TB related or if it's just s/t with my BB Bold, but to me it seems as they had a higher volume in the past.

SE Exit/Cancel testing build: http://www.trekbuddy.net/beta/2009-09-02/index.php
As it is it will work as the 0989.
With this property in the JAD the Exit cmd should map to the right key:
With this property in the JAD there should be no-op cmd mapped to the right key:
Let me know...
