S60 3rd FP2 and newer (S60 5th)
Nokia has finally fixed and improved their java implementation in newer S60 devices (3rd FP2 and 5th), and there is no more need to use TrekBuddyService native application. Backlight control works fine, and - tar-ed maps are fast!

It's quite hard to follow with installation of new versions. Maybe that's the reason for Shocked

I have a nokia 6700 classic and i can not change between the different modes of the Compass Sreen. The compass niedle is always look and I can not change with 5.
I have tried with different versions... 0.9.83, 0.9.84, 0.9.85, 0.9.86 and 0.9.87.
What can I do?

Tried 87 today while caching. After about 1 hour TB froze. No more map movement, no reaction on keys. My device (BB Bold) was not frozen, so I could make a soft reset to reboot which was the only way out.

This was the first time ever that TB was hanging and I use it very often for hours of operation.

Anybody else seeing something like this?

this Ver 9.87 do not work with LG KC910 becuse after install jar file can not install jad file. :?:

after run jad.url Or jad normal file see in screen " Authentication failed "

I think you remember me Smile

I was tested this version, and i have several findings.
My environment:
SE X1
Java: Esmertec Jbed 20090217.5.1R2 (i try also standard version 200806xx)

If I put phone to factory def, i cannot instal this version (from jad of course) becasue it cannot found root certificates -56

But if I download 0.9.84-devel installation has run and finish correct. Then as next step I can update it to newer 0.9.87 Smile

Next thing i has lot of problem with Out.of.memory problem and som others exceptions...i thing i solve them with Jbed_8M_ImageBufferLimit.cab with works with all tested java (jbed) versions
