thanks for your effort but it is working now though i did not change anything. Maybe it was a Problem of my phone and not your program. Sorry for bothering you!

I must say, trekbuddy really is great work and your support is great, too!

Trekbuddy Very interesting applications for me. My telephone is Nokia 3120 classic (320x240 pixel size display). I use it with Qstarz BT-Q1000P bluetooth GPS receiver. Trekbuddy working properly with small or medium tar-ed atlas /tile size 256x256pixel, 1...100Mbyte all size/.

But has a problem with large tar-ed atlas, /tile size 410x300/, approx. 1.3 Gbytes /cut it many smaller maps, one original source maps max. approx. 25000x20000pixel/. This atlases with small or medium zoom map is working, but with the high zoomed map crash: java.lang.OutOfMemory error. This error not happen immediately, maps correct, pan with 2,4,8,6 key ok, but randomly more time after start the map, crashing with memory error.

This phone has 2097152Byte memory for java. I check free memory with trekbuddy frequently, 600kbyte - 50kbyte. With pan rapidly the large maps, often free memory 400-600Kbyte long time, but sometimes only 50Kbyte, or crash the program with memory error. I not know the problem, but i think this is a memory leakage or caching problem? Trekbuddy extremly useful for me, any help are welcome.

Thanks

I'm using Trekuddy on a HTC S710 with Esmertec Jbed 20081002.2.1

With the current version the screen is flickering once or twice every 5-7 seconds. This was not the case with version 0.9.83

Regards

And how many tiles are in that detailed map that sometimes crashes the program?

Now i compute the tile pieces for the large atlas. This atlas has a zoom level 1 to 256. Zoom level 1 to 16 has a one tar map. Zoom level 32 to 256 has a cutted map, for example zoom level 32 cutted 4 smaller tared maps, this map has a 13120x9600 pixel dimension (1024 tiles in one cutted map). See the attachment picture to more detail. Total tiles = 349524.

The low zoom level near always ok. Larger zoom sometimes crash, when panning, or driving a car, but with no move long time = no crash, crash occurs always when the map moving, but randomly, how many time/move requied to crash. Biggest zoom more frequently crash.

- 0.9.84-devel more stable than final 0.9.84. But problem exist too.
- 0.9.84 final version with hungarian translations and nice HECL display often crash when move the map after some time. With low zoom, sometimes crash, with high zoom often (0-2 min drive or fast keyboard map move crash.
- 0.9.84 final without translations and HECL, stable often, with low zoom, no crash, but zoom level 256 sometimes crashing with memory error (free memory usually 800kbyte - 500kbyte) when long time 20 min driving, or move map manually.

it's okay with my k750i perhaps should I try the wav format on WM Smile ?

on my Nokia mp3,amr and wav are working.
But playing short sounds (0.3sec) ones per sec did not work correct.
Than i here mostly nothing...

Quote:
00:00:00 are printed correclty but 111 111 xxx are printed with a left shift.

FP values are also left shifted about 1/2 char.
eg
alt inside the xml shows 100 at the corr. Pos
$cms::alt shows 100.5 left shifted.

But it was in the 0.9.84beta the same,so i use a right shifted pos. inside the xml to get what i want.

Rest is fine,i use TB every Day Very Happy

I see; some characters (from bitmap font) are rendered as 'narrow' because it looked ugly when eg. dot was taking the same width as digits etc.
