better touchscreen handling has the highest priority now: scrollbar in custom list component, screenlock (does not work, does it?), quick access to selected wpt list (dtto), wpt info switching (usual keyboard sequence * 0 does not work either).

bottom left corner pressed for a bit longer (similar to longer keypress of * key)

I only found out yesterday evening it does not work. Probably a gesture (slide to right) would be simpler for me to implement.

anyway, what do you think about screenlock?

Don't delete, upgrade (install new version over the old one - if NPCS will let you do so Confused ).

bottom left corner if i hold it just brings up the menu, start, load map in blue squares etc.

if i hold just above that nothing happens

Screenlock as in keeping light on but lock screen u mean?

has the backlight issue been fixed? just checked an NO
you click to turn backlight down, and when it gets to 100 percent it wont allow to put backlight back on again after another press, i have to exit tb by holding menu key etc etc i think we had the same issue with the Nokia N95, but was fixed Smile

always loving the updates and gizmos keep em coming kruch Smile

that is because of the bug; screenlock will protect from unintentionally touching eg. when having the phone in a pocket

it's okay with my k750i perhaps should I try the wav format on WM Smile ?

- a bug concerning string printing :
var vinc::maxspdtimestr "00:00:00"
var vinc::maxspdtimestr1 "00:00:00"
var vinc::maxspdtimestr2 "00:00:00"

proc smurf::onLocationUpdated {} {
set vinc::maxspdtimestr "111 111 111"
set vinc::maxspdtimestr1 "111 111 222"
set vinc::maxspdtimestr2 "111 111 333"
}

00:00:00 are printed correclty but 111 111 xxx are printed with a left shift.

Hi Kruch,
first of all thanks for your really great work. I am using trekbuddy very frequently on a Nokia 6230i. On this device the camera doesn't work, as far as I understood the camera is not supported in J2ME on S40 devices.

Is it possible to add the option to record an audio recording to a waypoint. This might be very helpful for openstreetmap.

Another request is:
Please provide a "small" standard version e.g. without world map because the memory on older devices is very limited. Thanks!

Hi Kruch!
I've just updated my old TrekBuddy with the new version and I'm badly surprised. TrekBuddy doesn't make any action when I'm pressing the left or right functional button (I've got Samsung B2700). It makes this app completely useless. I can't access the menu, load maps. I simply can't do anything.

Please consider my bug report Smile and write me how can I fix it.
Regards and thanks for making this great app (which doesn't work on my phone Crying or Very sad )

P.S. Sorry for my bad english

Hmm, classic menu is not used on devices with touch screen (bad decision, now I know), and it appears for some reason the app thinks B2700 has touchscreen.

I will have to release 0.9.85 tonight, there were a few silent hotfixes already anyway Confused
