Hi Thomas,

on my phone sometimes ldreq is sometimes Truncated.see screenshot.

Mumble mumble, there must be a difference in display between our phone models. I will try to fix LDreq, but if you could send me at least the portion of NMEA where you have that problem, I would be more confident I can reproduce the bug. I could send you the snapshot of my malfunctioning with your CMS, and NMEA log, if you are interested.

on my 6220c it takes 5% vs 6%.it is important that NEP is running in background otherwise itself creates 15% cpu load additionally...

What is NEP?
Probably we have some differences in CPU performance?

i must think about it,but later.

Sorry for that! My best wishes!
Meanwhile, I derived formulas and implemented them in Excel. Next step is to implement and test them in TB, during one of my sleepless fly-dreaming nights

HECL scripts. If you are familiar with programming languages you will do it quickly. Surround it with a big 'if' where you check $cms::time. I cannot find remainder operator in HECL. Probably, you could do something like:
if {= [- $cms::time [* 1000 [/ $cms::time 1000]]] 0}
{<the whole function body>}
I have not tested this command, so I am not sure there is no syntax/semantic error |
Hi, Sorry for the delay but a injury and the weather didn't let me fly. I tried out the software with a 1hz unit. That was absolutely great!
I also tried your script modification, but didn't work. Unfortunately I am not familiar with programming languages. Could you please provide me with a tested code sample?
thanks,
a.

Hi nattila, test version 1.2 (http://www.trekbuddy.net/forum/viewtopic.php?p=29031#29031) and tell me whether it solves your problem with your 5Hz receiver.
Bye,

i made some cosmetic changes:
1.the setting screens are now containing a little sat view
2.a workaround because some tb versions did not respect the "area box"
defined in the xml
link is in the first post

Hmm. I tried it in car and worked great. I couldn't test wind calc., but it was great. Earlier versions went crazy within 2-3 minutes. Thanks, its Great!

this is not so bad:
http://www.livetrack24.com/statistics.php
it works also in "not live" mode, creating IGC Files.
On my Nokia6220C with internal GPS i can use it together with TB,
sharing the internal GPS.
i dont know if sony can do that...
Greeting from old Germany,
Thomas

In fact I used "leonardo livetrack" before TREKBUDDY, but I don't know how to use it offline & creating IGC file.
Nevermind TREKBUDDY and these "AIR CMS" seems more convenient and complete (speed to fly + wind direction + bearing to next wpts)
Now I am looking how to select numerous waypoint in a list of xxx wpts in order to navigate from one to another...
For the moment I only know how to create one single gpx file that contains several wpts then follow them (using "RouteAlong") but I only could create this "global wpt" on my computer then transfer it to my mobile, not convenient for every day use.

Nice in flight, except than in vertical position bearing seems wrong.
Need to improve my battery lifetime....

|
|
Hi,
I'm newby in TB and this CMS. Just installed today and it looks like works faultless on my SE P1i + Royaltek BT GPS. I hope I can test it under my paraglider soon when the season starts. I was really really impressed by this level of programming in a script language and made me think about a Thermal Map feature.
It is well known service of some GPS combined vario devices and helps to find the way back to weak thermals and finding the core of them.
Maybe it is not feature which could be implemented in a CMS but rather in the track drawing window, in that case I have to put it on the Wish List
What I have dreamed of a panel with dots (size or colour depends on the level of lift measured there) where the pilot was ascending and an arrow representing the glider's actual position/direction.

Hi,
How does it handle the waypionts? Is there a predefined (eg.: radius 400m) cylinder? Can this switch to the next waypoint automaticly or not?
The best method would be a changable radius setap with a sound alert when you enter into the cylinder.
thanks.
