Hello,

Ive got some maps in trekbuddy format and I need them to load in OziExplorer. Is there some way to load or convert TB maps to Ozi?

Basically, the format of TB maps is the same as the one of Ozi but the maps for TB are additionaly cut to slices. If you deslice the TB map back, you can use it in Ozi. (The .map file is 100% the same.) In other words - the Ozi format is the same as TB format with a single (big) slice.

One of the ways to deslice a TB map is:
1) Open it in TBmapper.
2) Use "File - Export to Trekbuddy" and in the dialog window set the values of Tile width and Tile height to big numbers (bigger than the size of the whole map).
3) Export to PNG files (not to JPG - TBmapper has a problem when saving to big JPGs)

And that is all !! Smile
