EDIT: Proposal - use '0' for day/night mode switching in all screens, so that '*' can be used for keylock.... Question

Yes, "0" can be used to switch day/night (I don't see day/night difference on my maps).
But "*" alone as keylock is almost impractical, can be easy self pushed. I propose to use key sequence "*, right menu" for keylock on/off.

On a boat you are really not interested on any distances in meters, you always think in nautical miles. You see the speed in knots and can then calculate how long it will need to your destination if you know how many nautical miles it is away.

Yes, day/night switch with '0' in MapView would only change crosshair background, as it already does.

Siemens phones keylocks when '#' is pressed for some time, so I think I'll try the same with '*' first...

keylock: may be you could the lock introduce as a new topic (7 or 8?) in the options menu. And when it's locked, you can free it by pressing '#' for 2 seconds like on Siemens phones?

Nautical navigation is a little bit different than on a land (shortly - nautical triangle). So this is not only displayed units problem in map/HPS/CMS modes. Some parameters as time to wpt are not available now, doesnt matter if you count them from speed in km/h or knots and distance in km or miles.
No currently info for CMS display which units are used as nautical mode is selected now, etc.

... one setting i am missing, would be nice if you could add it for 0.955:

For contentious tracklogging (sailing, geotagging, etc.) it would be nice to have an option (in settings menu) for automatically split files on datum-changes. It prevents of too big files and after your journey you could manage your files more easy.

e.g. split file on datum change. Filename should be in your stile (!)

start
22:00 - 23.59 day 1 file one: tb....
00:00 - 23.59 day 2 file two: tb....
etc.

Hi, could you tell me what is the new feature "show trajectory" for? I don't see any difference when having it on/off? I hoped that it would be shoving me my travel trajectory in the map which I would find very useful when cycling
Thank you

Yes with SXG75 works fine but I've found sth:
From menu I'm choosing Start -> Red Point changes into Blue one and that is it.
There is no refresh... but phone seems to get GPS signal because when I press '5' everything is ok -> Green point and coordinations.

So is it correct or is it bug?

You need to press (or keep pressing?) '5' to have the screen updated after "start" the gps? And after that - screen gets updated ok?
Anyone else with SXG75 have the same problem?

I've just put 0.9.55 final on the web.

Not all your wishes made it there (like 1 decimal point for speed etc), but I got them on the list, do not worry... Wink

Just press once. After that everything is normal.
