|

When I tried to use Trekbuddy 0.9.80 on my SE K770i with a Holux M-241 it did not work:
-the phone found the M-241 correctly
-then I was asked to enter the default password "0000", it was accepted
-BUT: all I got was the blue status dot instead of the yellow/green one and the M-241 didn't show the BT connection sign
Under Info->Technical I got the error message:
ProviderError javax.bluetooth.BluetoothConnectionException:security block
Now after I de- and reinstalled Trekbuddy everything works fine !!!
The reason might be that I used Trekbuddy before with a Blumax Bluetooth GPS Receiver and TB stored some BT connection settings which are different from the M-241 ones. And then expected the Blumax.
Interestingly the M-241 didn't work together with Maemo Mapper on a Nokia N800 which was used with the same Blumax before. Maybe it's the Blumax... |
