OK - problem solved:

Downloaded MSHFLXGD.OCX from http://www.afreeocx.com/ocx/info/mshflxgd_ocx.html and put it in C:\Windows\system32

Then Start > Run > regsvr32 MSHFLXGD.OCX

ConvWPT 1.7 (the zip version) now works.

Cheers! Very Happy

its working here now too, running wine. i've tested it on a native windows xp system (sp3 i386) and got the same error message.

not sure, what made it working, but some tips for linux and wine:
(usefull variable running wine: WINEDEBUG=+loaddll wine ConvWPT.exe )

1) get the 4 setup parts from page 1 and install them.
2) get http://www.afreeocx.com/ocx/info/mshflxgd_ocx.html
and copy the dll to .wine/drive_c/windows/system32/
3) get http://wiki.winehq.org/winetricks
4) download some packages:
winetricks vb6run
winetricks msxml6
winetricks corefonts
winetricks comctl32
winetricks comctl32.ocx
winetricks riched20
winetricks riched30
winetricks dotnet20
winetricks wsh56vb
winetricks wsh56

5) get update for .Net 2.0 (NDP20-KB928365-X86.exe in my case) and install it:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?displaylang=de&FamilyID=ba3ceb78-8e1b-4c38-adfd-e8bc95ae548d

6) edit ~/.wine/user.reg:
[Software\\Wine\\DllOverrides] 1221823942
"comctl32"="native,builtin"
"ole32"="native,builtin"
"oleaut32"="native,builtin"
"olesvr32"="native,builtin"
"riched20"="native,builtin"
"riched32"="native,builtin"

and now ConvWPT.exe is working Smile

Edit: still problems with ole it seems. too many different version out there. ConvWPT is not loading/displaying the content of the gpx files.
i hope i find a solution Smile

I have the error presented by by hit:
"Failed to load UniText ..."
on localized WinXP Home PL.
Seems like problem with run time controls.

Some tips for you: I´m using ADODB.Stream to load and save GPX files in UTF-8 encoding format.

You must use MDAC 2.5 or higher: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=83e8f178-94c9-4e7d-b0b6-a8a94c4eb912&DisplayLang=en
See if it helps you: http://wiki.winehq.org/NativeOdbc[/url]

This is also caused by the Forms 2.0 missing components.

Try to install this: http://download.microsoft.com/download/activexcontrolpad/install/4.0.0.950/win98mexp/en-us/setuppad.exe from http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms968493.aspx

Hi all,
winows seems a bit complicated - here direction arrows short, simple and automatic...

Perhaps, otherwise I don't understand the features.

All the best

(Using GMapToGPX. Example-script is for german language)

Hello tchelo_mgf,

Create a route file with google maps and GMapToGPX.
Edit the script gpx2gpx.txt: Adjust the paths and remove the comment characters (#). (evtl. change in your language
Open a shell and type sh gpx2gpx.txt

Hmmm - seems to be a problem with GM2GPX at the moment Sad

Maybe Google have changed their code again.

Are you sure you are on CMS screen (using "#" key) ?
The navigation indicators are not showed on Map screen.

Could you post me your ui-profile folder contents and a .gpx file example ?

Thanks.
