Hello just found out about this place and wondering where I could get a map of British Columbia Canada. Also a tutorial of what exactly I have to do to get this thing to work on my Blackberry Pearl 8100.

If anyone lives in BC like me and has it already premade that would be AMAZING! if not I guess I could try and get it myself.. if I get it up I will give my files out if any1 needs them. (You guys should make a thread with ppls files and junk make it quick and easy for newbs like me hehe)
Even a link to where I can get the .map files from would be good. Thnks

My SD and GPS unit are in the mail so I am hoping to get these here and try them out ASAP. I am cheap and don't want a data plan for GPS when I can use this with offline GPS. Save me big bucks and be awesome.

Ibycus maps are available online and can be processed into .img files, which then can be converted to .map files using GPSMapEdit, and then downloaded to a smartphone using TBmapper.

Ibycus maps are excellent quality and probably better than Garmin maps. They include street and topographical data in the same files, but do lack much of the massive collection of POI's in Garmin maps.

I crop smaller areas for use in the BB8330, and zoom in to the scale with the most data before sending to TB.
