- TB fallbacks to Latitude/Longitude projection for .gmi

Yes, I know. The problem is for undefined projections.
If "Map grid" is selected in TB and map projection is for example Mercator, coords defaults to UTM, not Lat/Lon as should be.
The same is for unsupported LCC projection - coords are UTM Question
Forcing Lat/Lon in such case seems be more logical Wink

OK. So... ?

It will be nice to see Mercator projection supported in next TB version Smile

I wanted to have a look at Oblique Mercator (because of Swiss grid support that some people migght like?). I'll google more, right now I;ve found that Mercator is special case of Lambert Conic Conformal (used somewhere? I cannot now find the find link where maps/grids and projection they use were listed), so maybe TB should support directly this projection, thus having Mercator supported too

LCC is widely used for Canadian maps and NAD 27 maps.
But Mercator is cylindrical projection, not conic.

In such case, given the picture bellow (very typical), there seems to be no pressure to support LCC Wink

Where you loosed Indian users ?
LCC is needed for some grids, ie India Zones Cool
As I remember NAD27 (conus) was supported in TB earlier.
No possibility to use, no users ... probably.

But there are the huge quality improvements in TB 095, which opens a lot to people:
- custom datum support gives freedom for maps shifting (works well with GPS provider), more different offline maps can be used now
- TM grids
- nice compass mode for short distance navigation
- more supported mobiles

So keep going Very Happy

On K750i, I have to uninstall TB from phone first (so I loose my setup Sad ), otherwise I get an error too - is this SE feature, or what? Rolling Eyes

OK OK OK, I'll put NAD27 (CONUS) datum back, for North American users convenience Smile

So what do you think has higher priority - Mercator or LCC? What maps use Mercator?

OK people, if you make some interesting screenshots, showing how cool TB is (you know, new features like datums, grids, projections...) Very Happy , don't hesitate to post them to screenshots topic.

Small start loading map problem (not fullscreen mode).
If I start TB, first map is bottom cutted.
It's enough to open/close menu to see map displayed correctly.
