BNG coordinates now work in the UK Outer Hebrides. Thanks!

Small clarification of satelite info shown for Internal provider:

The verity of info shown in TB depends on how much raw NMEA data can be retrieved for a location via Location API.

Sometimes, the info you will see will not 100% correct. Eg. on some consists only of GSV sentences (like on SonyEricsson C702), so the number of satelitech is a value for which the following applies (<= mean less-or-equal):

Code:
number of satellites used for position calculation <= number of satelites shown by TB <= number of satellites in view

In case of C702, number of sats in TB is just the number of sats with strength information. On Blackberry, "internal" NMEA consist of GLL+GGA, which is good, but GSA+GSV is missing, so there is no sat strength info. As for S60 3rd with built-in GPS, I do not have such device so I cannot tell.

I have tested this build today with my Royaltec 2001 and my SE k770i

Can it be that this build pinpoints my position more precise then the 0.9.79?
I had incredible good results today but that can also be caused by the wonderful weather we had today ^^

This build seems to work as flawles as the 0.9.79 aside from the precision Smile

Thank you for all the work!

Now TB sometimes gives an error message when the communication Z710i - HGE-100 has ended:
_RENDER FAILURE_: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException
After this message the CMS is no longer (completely) visible and the other screens don't function anymore.

Maybe this is the clue to the nightmare-puzzle??

By the way, I like it very much that there is now satellite-information if there is no fix!

Version 0.9.78 could keep the backlight of Nokia N82 (S60, 3rd Ed., FP1) on. In 0.9.79 and 0.9.80 this is broken. Please fix this.

Otherwise, thanks for this great program!

Has ended because you selected Stop? What screen (map, compass or cms) was active when you did it?

I have also realized about the backlight. I have a nokia n70, so the problem is not only on the 3rd edition s60.

But anyway, TB it's a f*cking great app.

Adiós.

No, it ended itself. CMS was active then, but none of the screens worked after the error message.

The last times TB ended it didn't report the error so it's probably something else...

That's great, the signal strength is shown on my C702, but:

The NMEA-log constists of only GSV-messages. Do you know why? Is the other navigation data not NMEA type?

Thanks,
Egika

They (SE engineers) apparently decided to allow applications see only GSV as an extra info...
