As mentioned before in my previous mesage COm5 and COM7 are available.

Restarted my SP, started GPSport and TrekBuddy: Open (:) failed:2. Closed TrekBuddy and GPSport and tested with GPSTest (http://chartcross.co.uk/products.asp?cat=1). GPSTest did found a GPS on COM5. Can this behavour (not retrieving from dropwonlist) being caused by Windows Mobile 6 Standard (no touch screen)? Is it possible to make a test version with COM5 hard coded in it?

Sorry, stupid bug, in 0.35 I only fixed one of two occurences where listbox value is retrieved. Uploaded v0.36.
Just for the case it still does not work Wink , here's a version (for SP) with hardcoded COM5...

Thnx!

Both versions work ok. I will use 0.36 with TrekBuddy and the two JBED versions (I have both installed) and let know how stable they are.

I've tested version 0.36 on a HTC Tornado and Esmertec Jbed 3.1.
Works fine, exept still establishes a GPRS connection.
Minor issues:
exit button, in order to end the application directly
program icon, so the program is easier to locate in the menues & task manager

Thanks for your great work & best regards

Yes it would be nice to have a command line something like :
GpsPortPPC.exe -start [comNumber, bauds]
This way a batch file could run GpsPort and TB from the same shortcut.

It would be even nicer to have another optional parameter to switch on/off the StatNav for sirf GPS Rolling Eyes

Here is my little contribution : icons for GpsPort and TrekBuddy shortcuts.

EDIT : Also have someone found a way to avoid the attempt of opening GPRS connection ?

Cheers,
Nibbler.
