Hello,
Few days ago I updated trekbuddy from 0.9.66 to 0.9.74 and after that I've noticed some problem related to loss bluetooth connection between my K750i and BT-1000 GPS receiver. It happened few times during the 8 hours GPS work. Early when trekbuddy was work based on 0.9.66 It was working perfect!

Now, after loss connection the blue light and sound indicated loss bluetooth connection and I have to switch off/on trekbuddy BT-1000 connection.

Best regards
Darek

Hi Kruch,
I done your suggestion and upgraded TB to 0.9.75. Last weekend I had occasion to check this issue during the 11 hours foot trip and noticed that my TB lost bluetooth connection still (about 5 times). A little bit less that on 0.9.74 version.

Best regards
Darek

I have the same problem in TB 0.9.75 with my k750i and GPS NAVIBE GB735. Last version wich works propertly on my k750i is: 0.9.73. After rollback to 0.9.73 everything works ok. I've also checked my bluetooth settings, I've removed my GPS from phone, and I've add it once again - the same...

I made some changes in 0.9.74 which resulted in buggy behaviour that I failed to fix in 0.9.75 Sad

If you are willing to try 0.9.76 beta where I fixed 2 bugs related to problems you described, you can find zip file attached Wink

I will check it tomorrow (on my way to work) and I'll write something about comunication by bluetooth (k750i). At the moment connection with bluetooth is for only 10 min. and it's seems to be ok (in 0.9.75 connection sometimes was only 2... 3... min.).

Hi,

I'm guest from here: http://www.trekbuddy.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1184

With 0.9.76 beta reconnects every 30-40 seconds work again,
with 0.9.74 and 0.9.75 no reconnects at all happened.
In other words: Just one fix per Start with 0.9.74 an 0.9.75,
now every 30-40 seconds again (like in 0.9.73)

Bad news: in 0.9.76 is the same problem with comunication with bluetooth... but now is also problem with phone/java - I can only press and hold [<-] key for close the aplication - all other keys are locked (only lights is turning on after press them). I don't thing that it is problem with my mobile, but it is possible too. I will stay with 0.9.73 (for some time).

Hi Kruch,
I checked the 0.9.76 beta and it looking much better. During to 12 hours test the bluetooth connection worked without any problems.

The test was done in indoor environment and with idle state. The outdoor I can try for 2 weeks.

Once small details which I noticed is that in new beta version I don't see orange indicator which indicated that bluetooth connection is ok. but satellite position is not fix. Now, after establish bluetooth connection green indicator immediately appear.

Anothers two bugs of this Beta version....

    initial value of {sat} = 255, in emu = 0
    initial value of {fix} = "i" Question , in emu = 0

In emu, orange indicator is OK.
