|
|
hello trekbuddy community,
I have a Garmin frotrex 201 GPS that has a serial cable (DB9) for PC connection ( http://www.wsplc.com/acatalog/0101048400.jpg ). Is there a way to connect such a device on a PDA/Smartphone to use trekBuddy ?
I guess I'll have to buy a converter (Serial DB9 to xxx, xhere xxx is the proprietary connector of the PDA), am I right ?
The Foretrex 201 sends NMEA logs.
Thanks,
rahan |

Could you please explain the connection from serial cable to PDA ?
Thanks again
