|
|
Hello,
until now, on my different previous phones i had no problem with time display on map screen or CMS (identic for GPS time or phone time)
Since i have Blackview BV6000 (nougat 7) the time display in Trekbuddy is one hour wrong (ex: 15h00 in place of 16h00)
My location phone settings are OK ...
I suppose problem come from this chinese phone itself (not sure)
Any idea to fix it ?
Thanks

Thanks Ranger,

I think problem come from the new ROM phone. I just see that bug is related on Blackview forum ...
Waiting for Blackview BV6000 OTA update and i'll report the result ...

Was it ok in winter? Could be related to Daylight Saving Time. What do you see in Info->Details->TimeZone?

In time zone :
Europe/Paris ; true ; 3600000
I don't remember in winter because i used an other phone outdoor at this moment ...
I don't have this problem with my old xCover2 ...

Seems correct... true = uses daylight savings, and 3600000 is 1h standard time offset to UTC. Should make +2 hours in total...

Sorry I meant 1 hour less than UTC. Correct GPS time now in Europe/Paris zone should be 2 hours less than wall/clock time (1hour zone offset + 1 hour daylight saving).
I guess TB could use timestamp from raw NMEA where it is should correct. There is already similar workaround that overrides fix info provided by Android with raw info from NMEA. Can you make show NMEA log to check what is in it?

Blackview team confirm now that problem "GPS time wrong" come from their last nougat version : they 'll try to fix it later (i can wait ... and see ...)
But i don't know why i'm not able to record nmea track ...? On my phone, in engineer mode i can see on built in test that nmea is shown and active !

Access to raw NMEA is optional in Android. Apps can see all, only some or no NMEA sentences. You seem to have bad luck with BV phone.

I come back with my Blackview GPS time problem ...
Is there any way for Trekbuddy CMS to show phone time instead GPS time (it could be alternative for BV6000 bug)
Thanks
