Hello,

I tested several times TB compass mode and I appreciate the dual display : GPS needle and magnetic needle ... very helpful! Smile

but, ...

there are situations where the magnetic needle becomes false ... (inside car, natural electromagnetic environment or not, on tank motorcycle ... etc ...)
It's bad for a good and quick comprehension of the compass screen ... Sad

Is it possible to add a command in compass screen to enable and disable the magnetic needle ? (For example, short press on center and no problem because possible to keep long press for lock North GPS needle as usual way)

Regards

Not now. Don't know if there is a free command/gesture to do so...

Free command/gesture should be the best (fast) way to do it, but if not possible, choice in settings should be good also ... Smile
When device is clipped on metal motobike tank (example), magnetic compass is completly wrong and unusable ... more, this can be misleading Sad

Hello, i made some small tests ...

Seems that command/key -> 5/compass center (in compass screen) is used now for lock GPS needle on north with both short press and long press ...
Double tap on same keys is used for MOB Waypoint.

So maybe long press could be used for show/hide magnetic needle ? Right or i miss something ? Smile I dont know if hard to implement. Confused

A lot of cheap smartphones doesn't have magnetic sensor now ... Wink
BTW, if someone would control magnetic needle visibility, probably something in settings is better way (default - on?).

settings - possible
gesture - maybe possible too, but someone has to figure out what gesture/touch Wink must not interact with gesture common to all screens
