Hi Kruch,

i' ve run mountain bike this afternoon and i have always a little problem to see clearly the scale line in compass mode ... too thin ...

Could you change that, to get something looking like the scale line in map mode which is perfect and more readable ?

Thanks

I come back with old small request :
Look my screenshots, the scale line in compass mode is really too thin and not easy to see in most of situations. Sad
It should be good to add some pixels (like screenshot 2) and keeping grey color to be display correctly in day/night mode !

Could you please install

http://www.trekbuddy.net/dev/2016-01-31/trekbuddy.apk

and tell me what you see in Info->Technical->Display - dpi and density?
I just found out that both my android devices have density 1.0/160 and dpi very similar, so I cannot test UI adjustements for hi-res screens. Thanks.

Screens from HD Z1. Scale lines are different a bit on map & compass, but not too much Smile

Nexus 7
Desktop: 1200x1776; dpi: 320/320; density: 2.0/320

Samsung S6
Desktop: 1440x2460; dpi: 580/580; (density probably 3.6/580, but it does not give it)

I also do not really see any difference... Confused

Uploaded new apk (566 415 bytes) with disabled antialising for right-angled lines and rectangles. Makes it sharper and better visible.

Sorry Kruch, but not really better,
I think there is also firstly a thickness problem of the scale line ... no ?

I'm afraid it changes nothing for 5" HD screen (and 8"tablet too) Sad
Scale line is too close to system bar in such models, lock icon is almost unreadable on HD (a bit better only on 8"), etc.
Some tricks with screen view resizing ?

For me, with the last test apk, also the circle line of compass is less good than with precedent apk ... Confused
In all case, seems there is no proportionnality for thickness lines when they are displayed on small screens or big screens.
