As a rule Chinese phones have Mediatek chipsets which are famous for having troublesome GPS reception, but I had CAT B15 which has Mediatek MT6577 chipset and I didn't have any trouble with GPS. It was even better than with Motorola Defy+.

What's your experience with Chinese phones and GPS?
I'm looking at Chinese rugged smartphones but what's a rugged smartphone without a good GPS?!

There is a Chinese rugged phone with Qualcom Snapdragon - Mann Zug 3 (Android 4.3,1GBram,quadcore). It has much better GPS reception than Mediatek equiped phones. See for your self.

I got a used CAT B15 Q (an updated B15) with Mediatek MT6582M procesor. It has the worst GPS reception I've seen so far. Gps accuracy in TB and other apps says +-10m. When I'm standing still the position can easily shift 20m Mad
